on beta, but i got lucky as hell Amazon cancelled my digital order.

It is amazing the level of hate folks have for this game over on youtube. Seems like every reviewer on the planet has a hated laced review on youtube.
I am enjoying my replay of Fallout 4. I'll let 76 cook for several months. Maybe by then, it will be playable.

Played for an hr or two last night. My biggest complaint is the amount of fricking quest that pop up and clog a quarter of your screen. It’s worse when you’re in a party cuz whoever’s leader has their quest show up in addition to yours so you’ll have like 6-7 quest showing on screen.

Played for a couple hours, only got to level 5. They should really call this Fallout 4.5 as they unapologetically use tons and tons from 4.
That being said, don't understand the hate around it at all. I like that you're quickly out of the vault and into the story. I like the concept of how they did the SPECIAL skills and Perk Cards, but obviously I'm not far into it. A lot has been made about some of their decisions like no text chat, no push to talk but so far it hasn't had any effect on me. The emotes work fine enough for me. The social aspect of the game is pretty easily controlled so I don't think it'd be hard finding a pub group. The next big thing I need to wrap my head around are mutations as it seems like a cool concept and can be really powerful.
Overall went in with an open mind and am enjoying myself.

They straight up said this was originally going to be MP for 4 but decided to make it it's own thing.
Looks more polished to me so far.

This is the key i think. I'm having fun with it. I didn't expect anything crazy from it. Nothing feels really broken. I think there's a solid foundation to build off of.

Still some kinks to iron out for sure. I haven't seen that big patch yet, but maybe that downloaded with the main game since I downloaded it the day prior to launch?
I'm playing with a controller right now, just exploring the game, not sure if I'll jump on KB/M. But I went to add a friend and I couldn't acess the box to search for a player with the contoller. I could look at friends, party, and recent, but couldn't tab down. Had to disable controller and then add the friend.
