I have a couple of weeks to make up my mind on this. Starting to have some reservations.
Thing is.... it's fallout. It will drive me nuts NOT having it.

I played beta last night for ps4. Its much different than all the other fallouts by a long shot. vats is really weird. Gunplay seems smoother though. So far fire rate > fire power. The thing that stands out most is how hungry and thirsty u are. Seems like every 10 min im either one or the other and managing rads on top of that. Everything seems like it gives more rads. Walking through water is 10 rads a sec. But its also fun actually grabbing and using stuff i never did before like squirrel on a stick and being thankful for it!

Vats like mentioned is real time which is almost pointless and the hotkeys are terrible imo. Maybe more perks and getting more playtime would help but damn ive played the shite out of them since fallout 3 and on. Im very familiar with them but it feels really out of whack and not smooth. just clicking vats costs AP and AP also go down with sprinting and i think sneaking as well.

You can't expect it to give your more time when targeted with VATs. Just because what you slow the apposing player down also? The server clock is the server clock.
Its a change which feels weird but it is a technical change. I'm fine with it.

unless they somehow fix the unlock fps - speed hack , this game will be dead on arrival for PC.

PC gaming.
Most keyboards can rebin with no latency introduced. Set up a profile.
Its not an issue.

Its real time in FO4. I barely used it in any of the games anyway.
Is it true it costs caps to fast travel? That is way worse than whatever changes they made to VATS.
