I played for 6 hours

If Modders were allowed to fix this game, it would/could be a preorder.

Till then, a lot of fixes needed. The bug where you cannot pick anything up gets old. The fact that i can only scrap 3 things out of 200 on my property.

Maps need 30ish per, not 20. I built my base, and got bored.
The defend your base dealios are kind of boring, and are a pita. I'm trying to do stuff and i have to fast travel back to defend the base.

This game needs the modders to fix, and larger player base on map.

With the stuff you have to do, and people teaming up, it has a Rust sort of feel to it.

I had a team of 4 attack me while i was building. I killed 2 with my defense and my floor pikes, then to be a dick, i logged out!

I will not buy it if base defenses get destroyed no matter how many you have unless you go back.

Nothing pissed me off more in Fallout 4 then have 30 turrets defending the base to find the place in ruins because I didn't see the message about the attack.

Either make fracking defenses work or I won't buy this game. Nope.

I want plenty of mutant attacks but only if I can build defense to the point they destroy any attack on their own.

i found the attacks to be ok, sometimes they came from the fields. Then i would have dogs spawning in my yard, even though i had it blocked off and spike strips every where.

laying a shite load of spike strips is a must, especially if people play like rust in pvp. you can get all kinds of nasty diseases from the spikes.

Last night was the 1st time i was actually enjoying things, but man, with no npc's, you have way 2 many repeating quests.

I do like how when you kill some one, a bag is left with everything they had on them.

Also, weight has 2 be upped. I wasn't even whoring items and i was 10-15 over the weight

I don't mind repetition. I'm sure I spent over 100 hours just building stuff in Fallout 4. Hmmm...I just looked at it. I spent 482 hours in Fallout 4 so I probably spent way more than 100 hours doing nothing but gathering supplies and base building.

I just don't want to take all of that time and have a random mutant attack wreck my house even with 300 defense.

Fallout 4 was broken with the random base attacks. Your defenses didn't mean shite unless you were there for the attack. Once I showed up, it was usually over within seconds from all the turrets but if I didn't show up, base destroyed. That was bullshite.

Also, sometimes I killed everything so fast when synths attacked, it wouldn't register as a completed attack until I traveled away and then it would count it as a loss and wreck my base.

Hope they fixed all that crap and hope they added some of the awesome base building mods that greatly improved building.

I watched a video from mxr, and he showed a quest he found, and it had great potential, set up for a great quest, and then fell on it's face, because there were no npc's and the lore in the quest was never found.

It was like having a haunted house with lore and supposed creatures, then you finished and was like where was everything and anything??

I don't mind no NPCs.

If the base building is solid and there are enough mutants wandering around, I'm good.

I played Subnautica for 100s of hours without any NPCs and nothing more than the occasional note for lore.

I do think they took a big risk that the PVP aspect would be enough to keep folks playing for a long time.

Not everyone likes reading the lore. I have no problem with the way they went but I would agree it is a big gamble because plenty of folks skip reading and listening to tapes.

When building a base, not taking over a game base, you can literally save what you built, and move it to anywhere you want, and place that same base in a new spot. YOu blue plan it, and it will save it, with everything inside also.

Be warned, some serious Skyrim, tater AI in this game.

Was walking up a road at night, and the Mothman was staring at me. So i hid behind a car and then took a shite with a rifle, hit, another hit, etc.

It just stood there, as i shot it, stuck on something, and i ended up killing it. Which is not how its supposed to work, supposedly, when his damage hits a spot, he leaves and you track him to his nest/hideout.

Nope, stood there like some tard, as i shot over and over. And killed him.

A few other creatures, same shitty Bethesda AI. Stuck on a rock, boulder, etc. O stood there as i shot them, w/o even them doing a thing to or at me.

I'm not sure what the draw of this series is other than lore. People aren't playing it for the great gameplay.

Games not even out yet and my stash is overloaded.
And yes I broke down all of my junk. I have 1 power armor frame and a few pieces, a gattling lazer and a marine armor chest piece. Full.

I have no where to put the power cores (3 pounds a piece) and stimpacks are 1 lb a piece. The only weapons I’m carrying are a Marksmans rifle, a 10mm auto pistol and a shotgun with leather armor weighing a total of 30 lbs and without junk I’m loaded down. The stash limit is horrible and unless it changes drastically I’m not getting it. It’s a fun game but I spend half my time trying to figure out how the hell im going to get more stuff because that’s pretty much the point of this game.

Dude, i have 500lbs of shite on me at all times, and i scrap stuff like the dickens.

I need to build a cheezy base and start getting rid of the heavy bulk(copper, wood, metal, cement).

Another beta session toight 1pm to 7pm i believe! it was supposed to be a 9-10 hour session, but they cut it down.

I'm still really bummed about killing a mothman. With him being tater AI, and just standing taking shot after shot, it really soured the moment. Mothman is like the ultimate WV lore creature, i wanted it to be a fun moment, where he's kicking my arse, i'm running for my life in a panic, and blah blah.

Instead it felt like killing a giant in Skyrim, who's stuck on a rock that is 2 inches high and i'm shotting arrow after arrow at him as he just stands and takes them.

I did the prudent thing.

I bought all the Fallout 4 DLC, loaded up all my favorite mods and once again returned to the wasteland.

Maybe by the time I burnout on Fallout 4 they will have fixed some of the things that bug me about the new game or mods will have fixed it.

I am worried about mod support or if they will block mods since it is a PVP style game.

so why do you have so much stuff? is it all junk? is it to force you to make a base so you can store?

what is the point of all the crap?

I've won the game without cheats so I get a few cheat mods to speed things along.

Mainly to get rid of the weight. I use the main cheat mod for that.

I spend a good deal of time building so I am using scrap everything so I can completely clean out a settlement area.

I'm using Sim Settlements for the first time. Still haven't figured out much on how it works. It automates building up settlements.

Better Settlers. Brighter lights. Better generators. Longer power lines.

Armorsmith and Weaponsmith extended to open up additional slots for armor / weapons.

Then there are other mods needed to run those mods. Bit of a pain in the arse to get everything working. I had to buy all of the dlc because the game is old and at some point people stop modding for the base game.

I just ran through the first 20 pages of the top mods ever at nexus for Fallout 4 and picked what I thought would be useful.

As I said, I like base building and looting everything so lots of mods to support that behavior.

From what I understand, things like ammo, stimpacks, and fusion cores have weight in FO76. In FO4 those things only had weight in survival mode. I'm guessing that's where a lot of this extra weight comes from. In FO4 I had my carry limit up to around 350 and had trouble staying under that but I carried a lot of food and weapons.
