Real reluctant on this one. The v1 was kind of shitty. Actually had to replace the headset once.

I meant the last one physically was fragile. Cords developed a short in it and quit working. Had to replace the headset.

I suspect this one will be a vast improvement in build quality and overall specs.

Can you play the VR1 on the ps5 if you have a ps4 dual shock controller? Does that even matter? I really want to try it out.

you can. the Iron Man bundle comes with the converter cable for the PS5, but I think you have to use the PS5 controller. you'll need the camera as well.
which brings to question, i wonder how the PSVR2 will work. with or without a camera?

I’m going to assume not considering they don’t have the lights on the hand controllers or the headset. And thank goodness if they don’t. That was easily the worst part of the original one.

Those circles on the front are cameras, you wont need a camera for PSVR2.

I wonder how it will compete with Quest 3?
I know, I know... "Facebook" but if they are comparable (tech-wise) and it includes full-body tracking while being a couple hundred less than the PSVR2? Sony is going to have to up their game.

That’s pricey. It better be a lot better than the V1 and be less cumbersome.
