The trailer sure as hell didn't look like it was protecting any particular groups from stereotypes. Looked like a typical Rockstar game - no one is safe.

These game trailers/releases are like a worldwide phenomenon. 19 million views in about 3 hours. It's pretty cool to see how people from all over just pumped from a 1:31 video.

I thought the trailer looked really cool. Rockstar always has their finger on the pulse of the world. The social media aspect of this should be interesting. They kind of dabbled with it a bit in 5, but now it's gonna be a full on social media blitz. I wonder how it will be integrated into the game play.

They definitely captured the South Florida vibe. I like that it seems crowded in places where it would be, you know, crowded. I like the different body types that you would see in real life.

As far as the characters, we don't know shite yet. Like WCA said, the trailer for 5 didn't even have Franklin or Trevor, and they were huge parts of the game, and fun characters to play as. As far as playing as a woman, I don't give a shite either way, as long as the character has a fleshed-out personality. To be a gamer and possibly pass on this game just because you have to play as a woman seems insane to me. Just because a woman is a main character doesn't mean it's "promoting feminism". It's simply acknowledging that women exist, and some of them play games now But everyone's different. If they don't play it because it's a woman, idgaf, go play sackboy or something.

The Tom Petty song immediately went into my liked songs on Spotify. That song is going to fricking explode on the streaming charts. It's a hell of a song, too.

All in all, waiting until 2025 is a little rough, but I'm all about them taking the time they need to make a truly envelope-pushing, special game. I hope I don't die within the next year and a half

Rumor going around that a Disney World clone will be in the game. Imagine the fun mowing down Rickey Rat, Garry Goose, YouTube vloggers and 400lb obese people in scooters eating churros down Main Street in a Buick.
