Toejam and Earl. I have played it for years and I never seem to be able to beat it. It is a dumb semi-relaxing game though.

I’m 35 and have been playing Ninja Gaiden since it came out, I think my problem is I’m going for a “perfect run”. If I have a misstep or use something then feel it would have been more useful later I just scrap the play through and start over.
I think there's only been 1 "Perfect ", no damage run of Ninja Gaiden, ever, And it happened within the last couple months.
The world record for speed is still held by Arcus, 11min 38.06sec ... after 50,000 attempts
It's one of those games that when you finally conquer it, it's like you climbed Everest.
Never beat 2 or 3, it's been 25 years since I tried

Witcher 3. And I haven't touched it in like 2 years.

Zelda II: Adventures of Link
Witcher 3
My favorite game of all time. I'll never forget finally getting to the "end" after discovering I was at 103% of the map discovery.
Reverse Castle entrance blew my mind.

Just about any of the GTA games. I also lose interest in the story and spend hours upon hours just doing stupid shite until I lose interest. I think Vice City was the last one I actually finished.

Do people actually “beat” games like Skyrim, Witcher 3, Breath of the Wild, or Red Dead Redemption 2?

There quite a few Pokémon games. I quit Pearl after the 8th gym, and White after the 5th. Really stopped playing the series too.

TMNT: Turtles in Time
-I play on and off since a kid but oddly never beat the whole game, but it is super easy.
Luigi's Mansion
-Played on and off since gamecube, play the 3DS port a ton, never finished. Not certain why, just always starting over.

Yeah doing much better, thanks!
I'm taking a break from the OT. It is just districtive.
But I need some type of online interaction, since WFH in an empty house, I'm beginning to get lonely.
So here I am, back to the only boards I really enjoy here, MSB and GB.

I always log in just to run around and explore.
