I guess I would enjoy dark souls type games if I was unhappy like y’all and needed something to be good at but I play games to have fun
What if I just enjoy the Souls games?

Weird take.

El Guaho is a troll on every board on this site. I wouldn’t take him seriously

Lol I’m fricking stupid. I just needed to upgrade my weapon. Vicar went down first try after I did so.

Bloodborne got a little easier for me after I got all the hunter's clothes but they make it so tough to upgrade your gear.

I guess I ignored runes and gems on my first time playing because they sure as hell help. As well as having the resources to go from +3 to +6 but not knowing it.

I beat the One Reborn yesterday and will pick up the game sometime later today.

Not specifically within a series, but I'll take the Paradox Interactive "grand strategy" genre games.

Although I love the games, particularly Crusader Kings 2, there is just a stupid learning curve to simply not suck at the game. The only suggestion I have for those trying to play those games, not so much Hearts of Iron, but CK2 and EU4, is to play those as an activity - like The Sims - rather than trying to "beat" the game in some objective way.

Yeah it really hasn’t been that bad since that point. Though nightmare frontier has been a bitch.

And Amygdala was fricking easy. What an easy boss for such a tough area.

Edit: frick nightmare mensis even nite than frontier.

Update, beat the game and every non dlc boss I think. Pretty satisfying when you actually learn the mechanics of how to upgrade your weapon.

Monster Hunter: World was the first in the series I've played. It took a few weapon swaps to figure out what fit my playstyle. Even after getting a basic feel for it, I would fire the SOS flare at the first sign of trouble.

Once I approached the hunts like Dark Souls bosses, I got a lot more comfortable and haven't put it down. It took probably 20-30 hours to get to that point. I'm glad I stuck with it.

I didn’t mind that game, but I really hated how it was “normal” for enemies to run away after you damage them enough.

Just got insanely frustrating.

Yeah that was annoying at first. I started using those breaks to sharpen, buff, craft, gather mats and tracks, etc.
