It was most likely a visual thing. It registered visually faster on the higher FPS but it wasn't any different if his ping was the same.
If you have more frames you will see everything quicker as they are refreshed more often.
What are your game settings?
Graphics
Resolution
Windowed/Window full/Full
multithread rendering
What are your nvidia settings?
Have you optimized those?

I noticed this morning that they changed team rumble back to first team with 100 kills wins. Glad to see that, because it took a lot longer with 150 kills.

Everyone finish the 14 days of summer? I got a good bit of play in today. I need to thank the bus driver one more time and finish in the top 20 (I kept forgetting to thank the bus driver) and I need to get two more bbq pits.

I’m at 91 fortbytes. Finished all 10 week challenges, 14 days of summer, and Utopia challenges. Hit the grind for about 6 hours this weekend and Team Rimble fill squads helped a good bit

Well I regret even starting this stupid forbyte stuff. The latest sailing through rings challenges will not show up for me at all. What a waste of time.

As soon as you get off the bus, deploy your glider. Head to the area. It will take a long time but that’s how I see them bc usually the first ring is high in the air.

I mean they just do not appear. Other people have had the problem and they have posted some fixes like switching regions but that has not worked for me.

I finally had the rings show up by the platform near fatal, but I still can't get the ones by Snobby shores to show up. Maybe I'll try switching regions tonight.

so I have all bytes except the damn snobby rings. I queu'd up in team rumble over and over waiting on them to pop up. didn't work on the loot lake rings and drone rings til I was wearing singularity outfit.
im assuming I will end the season with 99 bytes. sad.

The fix that worked for me was going to the default skin, default pick, no contrail and default glider. Then hopping into no fill squads team rumble
