No worries. I’m sure we’ll play at some point.

Almost got the dub with me, D, and L. Eating some supper and watching a little NHL then getting on later. We need a 4th.

Anyone have any Arena tips? I’m Division 6, trying to make that last push into champions. Little late for qualifiers, but that wasn’t my goal tbh.
Also, is there a discord for GB Fortnite? The old TD discord is inactive af

- Push back of bus line but go to areas you drop all the time. You will feel more confident.
- Look for a high resource area that has rock, and metal.
Wood is extremely easy to get.
- Prioritize shotgun, spray, range, heals, and mobility
- YOU NEED SOME TYPE OF MOBILITY
- Shadow bombs, impulses, rifts, and launch pads are a must to have in inventory.
- Ballers are great but not as necessary.
- If you have a baller, stay on outside of circle until final couple of zones as you can easily get to center.
- If you do not have it, use environmental mobility to get a free rotation to center after you have acquired loadout. The reason is that the circle is less likely to be opposite side of you. Less travel time.
- Get good at editing and turtling.
- Understand placement points are more important than elim points. If you get pushed by someone that is not in your favor, use a mobility to get out and reposition. If they pursure, they will likely get targeted by others.
- With that said, don't be afraid to push someone that is weak or in a terrible position. They need to be a quick kill as others are looking on and waiting to 3rd party.
- Cover yourself at all times when in later circles to heal, reload, farm, whatever. You will get tagged. Don't get lazy.
- Move early in moving zones to get position unless you are storm camping and have a way out.

3rd solo win of the Season last night. Starting to use some of those things we practiced the other night. I'm hoping to get a few more Solo W's this season.

Awesome man! Were you more comfortable building?
Posted on 6/3/19 at 11:03 am to Hu_Flung_Pu
Oh yeah for sure. There were a few times last night that I was able to build for height and defensively. It helps to be able to reset during a fight, and then reengage.

it’s all good dude I’m okay with the fact that I’m probably the worst player in this thread
There is no way you are as bad as me... ROFL
Random squad members don't think it's very funny when I tell them my best attribute is farming mats.
I haven't gamed since my Everquest days in college. I feel like I have good strategy for Fortnite but I just can't make the keyboard do what I want my character to do and certainly not fast enough for some of these 10 year olds that kick my arse in 0.5 seconds.

So I am still somewhat new to PC and am trying to master building. I’m pretty good as is, I can 90, edit pretty well, turtle up, ramp rush, etc. Where I have a problem is taking high ground and maintaining high ground. Any tips for that?

Dude I’m in Division 3 in Arena and I get freaking worked like a punk. 1 v 1 you would straight up massacre me.

Taking high ground is just utilizing techniques. If they are already at height and you can't seem to get it, just give up and play low ground. No use in trying to waste all your mats when they are already up there. Knock down the structure and get some free hits while they are falling. If they build up again, do it again.
Maintaining is just learning the different taking height techniques and knowing what they intend to do and countering. Try to use cones more often. Bonk will tell you how annoying that was.

Because knowing the areas are important I would recommend playing around on Playground for anyone who needs to learn the map.
