I am. I moved during 8 and barely played at all I think I only got up to BP tier 30ish.
Tomorrow will be my first time playing in over a month at least.

Season 8 was a bit of a disappointment for me. I’m interested to see what they do with Tilted and Retail. Whether they slowly rebuild them or something just pops up.

Season 8 was alright. i didn't like any of the skins except blackheart. i honestly haven't used any skin at all other than blackheart from this season.
i enjoyed Air Royale (a lot) and Endgame the first few times.
Lazy Lagoon and Sunny steps were fine, but i'm over them.
I am glad to see TT and RR go. been such a boring part of the map that's stayed stationary. i'm honestly ready for dusty divot and that area around there and TT to change up. i feel like 90% of my 50v50 fights end up there.

Since I started playing in the middle of season 7, I really don't have much to compare season 8 to.
It took me several weeks to learn all about the game. At first, I was trying to figure it out by myself and when I couldn't figure out the benefit of using a grocery basket I started searching for information.
It took me the back half of season 7 to learn just about every aspect of the game so the only difference I experienced is going from a map with no volcano to one with a volcano, having airplanes in one season then the hamster wheel the next. And of course the introduction of new weapons like the bow, which has become my favorite weapon.

I've been reading about leaks and possibilities for season 9.
Some people are saying TT & RR will be completely redone with a more contemporary look. There is the mentioning of maybe a completely new map (which I don't see happening. IMO it will just continue to evolve. They might make some big changes, but not roll out a whole new map).
As for as season 8 skins, yeah I don't really like any of them except the Ruin skin. Not that it REALLY matters, but I wish there were options to customize skins. I'd just like to have the ability to create a skin that is not something a bunch of other people have as well.

I've noticed since Titled and Retail are gone that the second Tier point of interests have gotten a lot sweatier. Hopefully they replace them with sweaty drops again.

I kind of hope they bring tilted back and make it about 1/2 to 3/4 as big so that things stay spread out but not all focused on either titled or pleasant basically

Yeah every place me and woo dropped last night was contested. Same when I played solos later. That’s fine sometimes but sometimes I just want to loot up, mat up, and then get to the fight.

Not only that, but now the tactical shotgun does more headshot damage than the combat shotgun.

ANYTHING they can to get newer players to stick around. One of the redditfags said 26% of elims were pumps in s8. 2nd place gun was nowhere close to that.
Not saying I agree, but I do get what they're doing.. and that's telling the new folks and shite folks to give it another shot.

Meh, I mean I get it... But it's not like they're suffering for a player base at the moment, and that's what I don't get.
They make these massive strategy changing moves with zero input from anyone, it's just a bad PR look (granted for all I know a silent majority may like this move, but I feel like the pump was a pretty well liked weapon)
