Yeah a lot make sense.
I'll give it to them, epic sticks to their formula.
Each season they release a bunch of anti-building measures (dynamite, remote explosives, planes, quad launchers, planes, grapplers, jetpacks)which piss off the better players, because elite building protects them then slowly dwindle it down as season ends, thus pulling them back in.
They could keep riding this theory out for several seasons.

If you guys watch Twitch you should check out a guy named Prospering.
He is so calm and cool about his demeanor.
He plays with his subscribers every day and gets about 10-15 wins per day.
He is pretty legit and I enjoy watching him.
I just think it's awesome that he plays with all these kids and still gets a lot of wins.

I love watching my kids play and they aren't really that great but I suck even worse than them... probably because I don't put much time into practicing.
I would love to spend some time on this game and get to where I am at least serviceable and not embarrassed by my play.
I like playing on the keyboard SO much better than the controller but I feel like my son's keybinds are all wrong for my brain and my hand. I spend 8 hours a day on keyboard at work and shifting over 1 row from home row keys is just not natural for me.

Try tilting the board a little. I play at about 45°. Typing is straight though.

OK I actually downloaded FN on my laptop so I can try to play with the kids and hopefully get a little better.
I'm going to pose this question here since it relates specifically to FN.
Specs on my Laptop:
64-Bit Win 7
8GB RAM
I5-6300 @ 2.4GHz
Intel HD Graphics 520
I know this is not meant for gaming and I'm ok with playing on lower resolution settings just to interact with the kids.
My question is that when I got into FN last night to try it out the "world" took about a minute or so to finally load in after I dropped.
My system meets the minimum requirements to play but was pretty brutal to drop in and only have basic shapes instead of graphics.
Is this a graphics card issue? Internet speed? (we live in the sticks) Is the GPU something I can even upgrade on a laptop motherboard or is it integrated?
I was hoping to join in with them with something I already have but I might just have to drop some coin on a new gaming machine??
