What is spoilers in this thread? Rofl materia you can get in the first open world and summmons showed off forever before launch. Omg how horrible for you. Post anything story related or impacting anything In anyway other than suggesting ways for people to play the game better and materia that will facilitate that. Il wait. Ofc I’ll be waiting till im dead though. And I haven’t even gotten to the gold saucer a second time very no life for a game a week out. Clown. Any slight thing about where chapters are anyone would know because everyone has played a game that came out in 1997 where this one ends and the places you go. Again clown

If you havent played OG didnt know name locations and you march in upper junon etc like i said from the OG I dont feel any sympathy for you. There is a masssive amount added altered new side characters and returning ones from remake I could spoil which would warrant your dumbass take

As I said have no examples just a shite poster posting shite things. Its been almost 20 year if you dont want to hear vague things about a remake from 1997 you havent played maybe dont go in the thread about it

I don’t know what to make of this statement as a man who is just wrapping up Junon….for the first time since release…

I’m unsure if you are serious or if that statement is one of the better trolls I’ve come across.

HOw long did it take you to do the first two open worlds? And I saved what will I imagine take people who dont do what I did sooooo frustrating long and thats navigating beautiful gongaga its the worst level design ive ever seen. I watched a guy on youtube navigate to every open world icon. Total game time is at 58 hours then again I have no kids and my gf travels for work and its fall break from work, Thats doing literally 100% of everything I just went to gold saucer finished all quest all open world icons and queens blood and all mini games you can skip as much or little as you wish

Also if anyone didn’t I recommend going into settings and changing combos from fixed to free took me way too long to find it. Basically it stops your combo chains from locking into one enemy and you can direct them with the left stick

Hamaguchi did an interview today in Japanese so someone on Twitter kindly translated it. Talks about how they were able to pull off the absolutely insane feat of rebirth that’s easily a top 3-5 Ff ever made and it’s best accomplishment might be the best open world ever or top 5 with an amazing story and great character. Also says one thing will be in part 3 and that’s the high wind baby. I assumed this wasn’t possible to do and maintain a rebirth quality

I assumed it wasn’t possible with technology but apparently they laid the groundwork for it when you “fly” the tiny bronco but it is really just auto piloting

Also talks development for part 3 saying game design document is done and the fact they’ve already made almost the entire world should cut at least a year from it

Might want to edit that out and into the spoiler thread there’s some salty losers I here who will attack you. I’ll address it there

Some bitches who complained about locations you visit in a game from 1997 will undoubtedly be seething in rage with you outlining the major plot points jn act 3 of OG

I’m surprised you have time to post since you’re busting so much arse on that second playthrough. Or are we on the third?

I’ll answer your question honestly even though you’re being a prick regarding NG+ and it’s various features additions and choices

1. First you can choose to reset all quest to original or keep your progress

2. New options are added like auto picking up crafting materials and some various other quality of life stuff like being able to choose whoever you want on your date in chapter 8 and 12 from anyone regardless of your current mood with them

3. All the map icons don’t reset any you did in play though one are grayed out and treated as complete

4. New costumes are added for red and Cait with and you can change costumes anywhere at choco stages and where them anywhere in the game not just costa del sol so if you love Tifa tits good news for you

5. Various new things are added like manuscripts and collectibles not available initially and if you beat the super boss on normal (or eventually in hard but it’s in chapter 13) as mass amount of hard mode lock Vr super boss content is there including fighting Zach and Seph and much more plus just a massive amount of new hard mode specific content in VR and the various battle arenas around the game

6. You also have the option of skipping all the Zach non gameplay parts in cutscenes intercut through the game

One thing I found odd testing it it out but I started a regular new game on dynamic just to see if anything carried over and your parties XP does for some reason so I opened the game on level 10 and the whole folios is visible.

That said I’m barely anywhere into hard mode even though I did every single map icon in run one so it shouldn’t take more than 25 hours to beat

Hard is much much harder than on remake though. Seems they put in much more effort and didn’t just scale up enemychealth and damage (which they did) but the AI and movesets. Just for referencing I died 3 times on the tutorial boss in chapter one because Sephiroth kept getting one shot if he gets caught under the grab and pound. Parry and dodge windows are incredibly more precise and some enemies even have different pressure conditions. It’s pretty necessary to know your enemies weaknesses ahead for bosses and elemental your weapon and use the materia that extends parry windows. I’ve heard the zolem is the first true super test on hard and I’m saved right before it doing some work atm

I finally finished 16 and fired this up last night.

I only did chapter 1 but like it so much more so far.

16 really started to bore me and the go here, now back over here, now go talk to Otto again just was so unnecessary. Hopefully this one doesn’t get like that.

It does not. This game offers a lot more variety to the gameplay. There are a lot of different things you can do in this game, it's not just (repetitive) combat and cut-scenes.

So just popping in to say to anyone who maybe doesn’t think they like queens blood too much, I highly suggest you stick to it. Mainly for two reason, one is that it is like gwent id put them on the about the same level gwent being more fun QB being more difficult so it is just fun to learn each puzzle and second and far more important it is without doubt the single best quest line in the entire game side content wise and anyone who wanted a quest with Vincent kind of like all the other side piece have there’s every now and then, this is your one and only

I actually just beat the final Queen's Blood boss. I like it a lot, but some of the "custom" games in the gold saucer piss me off

Took me forever to beat the final queens blood person. Won’t make him/her for spoiler reasons but essentially how I finally won was 2 things really. Learning how to properly use the card you get right before it from Vincent meant to be a counter to them I kept attempting to place it in the middle of the board which is wrong, what you want to do is the very bottom left that way it over powers any attempts that card does at enfeebling you so I can’t get many +3 off your own deck. 2nd was absolutely flood the board asap and box them in I ended up in my 15 car deck using 6 1 pawns Tifa, the 4 Turks you can buy from any shop once chapter 13 starts and and one down enhancer named spear hawk you get around the time of the boat, 3 replacement cards Yuffie Gil Natik and Insectoid Chimera and , 1 3 pawn that is 5 points but gives +10 if you win the row, and 5 two pawns Tonberry, the counter card from Vincent, Odin, Rufus, and Choco Jokey another card that gives like +10 if you win the row. If you don’t feel beholden to use the card from Vincent and play it “straight” thematically as the quest would suggest it’s much easier to win using a few cards like Joker and just load up on replacements to power it

The final puzzle you can do after you win that and get rainbow rank at gold saucer is insanely hard I’m still trying. It’s one of those multiple rounds where your points carry over but 5 instead of 3 and you no longer draw cards beginning in round 4. It’s kind of bullshite
