The original launch trailer 2 years ago was 97% what we saw in the demo.

We aren’t necessarily talking about FFXIV the game as much as we are the team that turned it around into something millions and millions and millions of people enjoy. Not including yourself of course.
ETA: oh and the fact that the main titles have been a bit of a drag lately and that there is no better team at SE to turn that around.
But you go ahead and sneakily buy the game and enjoy it like we know you are.

I literally said in my post I liked the demo and I'm going to buy it. You're literally making up facts about me 
I've played every FF game on release since the mid 90s. The point of my post is that I have low expectations of SE because all their FF games have been disappointing since the early 2000s...and I was surprised by how much I like the demo due to that fact. Chill out dork

Retail versions have reached some lucky customers.
The frames issue is still in the launch build.
Ray tracing is still in performance mode. It still drops frames.
Yoshi has stated there will be no day 1 patch.
It looks like a locked 30fps is the way I will be playing.

That's a pretty strong hot take.
While I'm not in this camp, I know a huge group of FF fans that consider FF14 easily the best in the series.
Kinda feels like an unnecessary dig when I think you're pretty excited to try FF16.

I played it through again twice and fricked around in the random dungeon which cannot possibly be leveled correctly. I am MUCH higher on it now than I was after just one go. The game has a symbiotic relationship where skill increases/fun increases especially when you use moves for their secondary purposes like phoenix second damage move can catch and reverse magic spells along with your damage. Titan is OP but needs someone who has a very well designed and thought out rotation going or just sitting on the button waiting to take advantage of his blocks/parries.
I dont think that dungeon will be more than an hour or so after the demo ended with at least half that being cutscenes. So idk maybe we could get from lvl10-13 in an hour. I also dont think we will have any other skills beyond phoneix until we defeat Garuda there. IF you watch the fight its been on youtube for about 2 months now the cutscene at the end Clive takes something green into his chest and theyre all shocked including Cid. Its my guess this is his first time taking someones power. Then they go full Kauju fight which we have seen and will be our first time using Ifrit resulting in Cid having to become Ramuh in the end to calm us down to either stop us killing Benedicta or some other reason but again that was partially shown in the trailers as well.
