Fable III: What makes it suck?

I have never played the aforementioned game, but I played the original Fable. Why did this game suck?

The story. It was terrible.
Also, there were really no improvements in gameplay from Fable 1 to Fable 3.

fable one was fun because of the morality concept. then nearly every game had it in some aspect, so when they recycled it for the next two games it felt very dated. Very few changes to the mechanics or graphics to freshen up the series.

I have a skewed opinion on this because I actually played the Fable series backwards. Played 3 first then 2 then downloaded the first one to my 360. My first impression of Fable 3 was very positive because it was the first game of its kind that I played. Same with 2. But now that I've played my fair share of RPGs, the lack of creative ability and overall mechanics of the game are just a bit...simple. It's very much a beginner's RPG. Which is odd because some of the concepts in the game are pretty mature.

The combat and story in 3 SUCKED. Magic is so powerful that it makes everything else pointless, not to mention your sword gets blocked by everyone. All of the "living weapon" shite they hyped up before it was released was a load of shite as well. I liked the story in 2 a lot more than 3, I didn't give a frick about any of the characters in the 3 except for the chick at the beginning because I wanted to frick her.

It seemed like the only change they made in the franchise was buying houses and businesses. Otherwise it just felt completely recycled.

A lot of over promising on the part of Molyneaux made things pretty bad. I liked the humor but the combat and themes were uninspiring.

Fable 2 was badass IMO.
But Fable was tons better. I didn't even play 3 for some reason.
I remember when Fable was up there with Halo for reasons to get an Xbox. Lol...wasn't even that long ago.

In my opinion there is no real class system. They try to make it so you can be magic, fighting, or skill. BUt in the end I ALWAYS ended up maxed in all three and used them all. It just felt ridiculously linear and unchanging from game to game. IMO there are only two routes you can take that are really different. Good or Evil.

Meh, I've got a ton on my plate, and this game is really, really shitty.
I'm not even on Xbox that much, most of the time someone is playing Skyrim, its Megan.
