Seems to me like a good portion of the gaming industry is based on skipping/easing the grind for money.
I for example often buy game passes for that reason.

It's basically how all the top PvP players made warlord in classic wow.
Multiple people playing the same account near 24/7. And they would do it premade groups that were basically farming groups in ez mode. Sending 1 guy in to see if it was an ez win or not, then everyone not accepting the queue if it wasn't going to be an ez game.
Maybe some people did it legit, but if they did they did nothing but play wow nonstop while rarely sleeping and they still ran in the farming groups.

I never understood how he had the time or energy to be competitive to the point where he was topping leaderboards in any game. Someone with that level of involvement in business and world affairs such as Elon shouldn’t have that kind of time.
No surprise that it turned out to be a charade. It’s embarrassing and a pointless flex that blew up in his face, but I still think Elon does enough right to make up for his larping as a l33t gamer bro.
