Found the game of year edition for $12
All the dlc's are included, is it worth a buy? I know the graphics are not a comparison to skyrim, but what about game play, storyline, etc?
Is fighting tedious, or decent?

The combat is the area where Oblivion is clearly inferior. However there is much more customization and I find the majority of the quest lines more interesting.
The graphics are worse than Skyrim but still palatable.

Oblivion was a very flawed game.
I only really liked it on PC with the OOO mod.

quests and guilds are way better than skyrim

Debatable. It's an enjoyable experience nonetheless.

I really enjoyed the look of the towns and villages in Oblivion. Also, the dark brotherhood and thieves guild quests were fun. For $12, it's a steal if you've never played it.

I spent more time on it than Skyrim. I will also say, for its time, it is the better game. For $12, it is absolutely worth it. However, I'm a bit hesitant to recommend it to you seeing as you played Skyrim before it. I'm afraid that you're looking for a Skyrim clone. When, Skyrim had a lot of added mechanics to the game play that I feel you will be disappointed with their absence in oblivion.
Sorry for strange phrasing, I've been drinking.
I will say, it has a much better class system which is probably why I played it more than Skyrim.

Me either, I'm considering buying the game with all of the dlc, if I can get it for $20 or less, just to play that.
