Supposedly Microsoft is working on two new consoles and will show one off at E3. Rumor says it will run at 6 teraflops, faster than the PS4 Neo.

The console arms race is heating up, soon they will be releasing them so often that console only people will know what it's like for the PC people when it comes to upgrades, stay on your old gear that still works or get the shiny new one.

I'd imagine Microsoft goes above and beyond to not piss people off with the next iteration of the xbox. They learned their lesson when the bone first released and have been doing damage control ever since. Would be surprised if they make it anything other than a smooth transition for xbox one owners to upgrade to the new console.
Bet Microsoft even takes one for team to make it pretty much impossible to turn down getting the new console, kinda like they did with windows 10. Just to get everyone on the same page for the new breed of console that will likely have parts that are up-gradable.

Thats a good thing, but console ppl will bitch not knowing it actually helps them.
Consoles really need to be modular.

Yeah we couldn't turn down W10. Those fckkers brute forced that upgrade one way or another. Had PCs where upgrades had always been turned off and got up one morning to find it had auto updated during the night.
