Anybody else having issues with public events disappearing when you get done traveling to the planet or teleporting to the location it supposedly just started at?

Yeah, I got to the final boss and called it a day.
Much different raid than in the past by Bungie. Lots more mechanics/puzzles this time around. I never thought I'd say that I wished there was an encounter w/ a bullet sponge boss, just one

any luck finding the check points?
dudes in my unit were on it last night said this raid is a different beast

The checkpoints, from what I've read (I haven't tried it myself) are apparently there. You just start at the beginning.
You just go to that huge commons area where you stick the staffs into the plates and supposedly your progress is saved like that.

Im at 275. Finally got my Mida Tool (287) and Sturm (284). Still need to do the rat king quest, and this weeks nightfall. Gonna try to raid this weekend if I have time.

Alright guys. Bought the game a few days ago. Never played Destiny 1 so it's taken me a bit to get the hang of it but I've got it now. Up to 106 power and level 11. Looking for a clan to join now. Hit me up.

Finally cleared the raid. Did it in two DPS turns. Our lowest skull count was 79 lol.
Only took like 8 hours in the boss rooms alone.

I will just be glad when I can play again...joined the PS4 clan started on here and have only been able to play once since then. Sitting at 250 power right now and want to be able to raid...

Ehhhh, I'm 297 lol.
There's like 3-4 guys in my clan above 300.
I'm not a fan of people requiring a certain PL unless it's like launch day, because that doesn't represent skill in any way. If I had to make an LFG group right now and needed like 1-2 people I'd instead ask that people have the emblem you get from completing the raid.
At least that tells me you know what the frick is going on.

I think his currency is legendary shards. He is on Nessus. Pull up the map and you will see his icon and you can just fast travel to that area of the map.
I highly recommend getting the fusion rifle he has right now. It is a boss slaying machine. It charges faster every shot that doesn't kill an enemy to the point it is basically full auto.
