I didn't either. They were clearly trying to get people to run through all their materials before the DLC. Work around was found. Worth it.

The grind in this game is so fricking ridiculous now. Also PVP needs some serious love, and I can’t make myself hop back in until that happens considering that was the primary reason I played D1 as long as I did. Bungie needs to really consider separate PVP and PvE balancing, think that would solve a lot of the issues.
I don’t know, the building blocks are there but they still got a ways to go.

Crucible on Destiny kind of sucks, and yea you need to have top gear on top of being really good at FPS.
I dont think the game is too grindy, you can knock out some bounties and quests simultaneously if you plan it out.

I'm pretty much strictly a PvE player. I'll hop in PvP when it's Mayhem and knock out the weeklies, but I'm not one to have all the PvP God tier weapons
Bad thing is, mountaintop and Recluse are God tier in PvE as well.

I go in for weekly stuff and when I'm bored. I got a legit go figure and mk 44 with range master and rampage that is awesome.

FYI - Bungie will be fixing the Bad JuJu cheese. If you already have the gun, you'll still be able to use it. However, they will lock that catalyst and the emote until you truly place the correct number of tributes.

I pretty much strictly do the weekly/daily strikes, nightfall and gambit challenges and bounties. Forges sprinkled in here and there on top of any quests.
