Don't really agree with that. I really only play Crucible for the daily and weekly challenges and generally run an AR I like and an auto version of the gambit scout rifle and I can go on some nice runs.
I still run into the dudes who can oneshot halfway across the map but it is what it is.
Got my hunter and Warlock up to 750. Just started working on my Titan getting him through forsaken now as well.

I haven't played since the Last Wish Raid really. Maybe started the Armory stuff for a couple days. I think all my guys are around 605-610. How long should it take me to back to a decent level for starting Shadowkeep? I don't know if the armory stuff is still available, but I believe it acts like I still have the new drifter season pass stuff to do.

As long as you're finished Forsaken you can do the menagerie and get up and over 690 pretty quick. That should be plenty

CoS is very easy. Fun, but very easy. I really like the armor sets from CoS. Some really good looking stuff.

Started back yesterday. Was nice to walk into the Solstice event and get handed 700 gear. Is the solstice gear this year going to work similar to last year where once you upgrade it to renewed it jumped from like 200 to 300 and then from 300 to 400 when going from Renewed to Majestic? For instance does it go from 700 to 725 to 750 when completing all the tasks and upgrading?

Dunno about the power level increase, but based on last year it should.
I'm not sure if I'm doing this again. Same basic grind as last year for armor that will be outclassed a week after the event is over...yeah, you get 2.0 armor when Shadowkeep goes live. But you'll earn it anyway.

My green set went from 700 to 720, I'd assume it will be 730-740 for the Majestic set.

I'm all for delaying it for a better product.
Got my blue set of hunter gear done. Just have to kill a few more mini bosses in the EAZ. Onto my Warlock after that.

I've got like 4 more strikes to do and the 3 activities and i'll be done with the green. My ability to consistently grind has diminished over the years.

I finished my Hunter set and got my Moments of Triumph title. Started my green Warlock set, but this one will probably take a while longer.

this armor is super grindy.
are they the same challenges for each class? I finished green titan this weekend. I dont think I will have the time to do them all.

Variations on the same challenges. Like for titans it may say kill so many Hive, Hunters so many Fallen, Warlocks so many Cabal.
I completed the Titan to Majestic. Dunno if I will masterwork. Playing that much crucible right now would suck to reset valor. Definitely not worth fooling around with to get Hunter or Warlock for me at least. Rarely play with those classes anyway.
Doesn't really seem worth it for armor that will be outclassed within a couple hours of starting Shadowkeep most likely and to get the void energy sparrow. I mainly just did it to boost my character on up since I was basically a 600 this time last week... 742 now.
Once you do get a majestic armor set, it will start dropping with different rolls from the Solstice Packages. That's kinda cool I guess.
