Joke is on you to think Blizz would devote resources to release an old version of a game and ZERO cost to subs for "a few thousand" players.

I wouldn't be surprised for Blizz to double their subs once it releases and starts to snowball.
When Vanilla was first released, Twitch didn't exists. WOW is dying and this might be the life support that revives this game to new levels.

The fact that Nostalrius Progression servers weren't the only ones. True I lumped them all together, but they were the biggest. Not the only one.
In any case, Blizzard isn't making this investment if they don't believe in a payoff.

I read the servers are technically 3 times as large now. Interested to see if they release any data on the layering. They said they dont expect to do it longer than a few weeks.

People are going nuts over level 1-5 beta test servers having long que times. The anticipation for classic is at a fever pitch.
