Juneau was an amazing place to stay in Alaska while hiking. There is a lot of history, and points of interest there. Whether you are a long time Juneau resident or stepping off a cruise ship, your perfect trail awaits you. While there I loved the Trail of Time. Excellent trail for seeing vibrant rainforest away from the tourist crowd. Black bears and salmon are often seen from this trail in the summer months. Just keep in mind that no food or flavoured drinks are allowed on the trail due to bear activity. Only bring water.

Hang on, I'm lying. One thing that annoyed me was the fact that they are not waterproof. So much for hunting in the rain. Then again, the price is a good deal so I am happy with what I got.
