I've been having fun on the beta so far. It's a totally different game than retail.
The main thing I've noticed is the danger of the world naturally fosters an environment that gets strangers to party up. I gave a random shaman I had just met all of my water on my warrior for healing/grouping through some quests in Mulgore. It's such a tiny thing but it's the culmination of all of the interactions like those that made WoW what it was.

I also agree with the above sentiment that Blizz has no clue how popular this will be once it launches. I thought it would be successful at the start, but the longer this goes on, I genuinely think it will push retail in active player numbers unless retail drastically improves.

I got a FB message today from my old guild leader asking if I wanted to get it going again on the vanilla servers....I'm not really at a point in my life where I can devote that time but I seriously considered it

I fired up some toons on Northdale just to get used to it ahead of the release and this is correct.

I will say it's pretty funny how quickly things come back to you that I haven't thought about in years because of QoL upgrades, etc.

Trying to pull any mobs in Redridge and Westfall was a pain in the arse.

Redridge has really sucked in the beta. It’s got a huge level skip. It’s very doable at 17-19 at the beginning. Then jumps up to where you need a group to do anything. Something I did not remember and completely took me off guard.

Westfall was pretty much how I remember. Love that zone.

I’m going to need to do another zone like Loch Modan before I go to Westfall so I’m higher when I’m done there to move to Redridge easier.

You could try to do Ashenvale or Darkshore

Never really a fan of the Kalimdor leveling zones. I jump over to eastern kingdoms when I can.

Although being Night Elf, its probably better to do some quests in Darkshore to get some ground before I leave for Wetlands and make the IF run.

Really? I fricking love leveling in Mulgore and the Northern Barrens. It's such a chill zone with great music.
