Yeah it's given me a sense of wonder that I dont think I've felt since FFX. Just impeccable art and character design

Defeated Sprong today.
Wasn’t too bad once I got the attacks down.
Chester is a game changer.

Chester? You find a secret 7th expeditioner?
Cheater is necessary for a lot of the end game encounters imo.

I didn’t find the spellcheck picto yet.

I'm almost at the end and this may be one of my favorite games of all time. I can't imagine what these guys are going to do with a serious budget on their next game.
Certainly is one of my favorites if not the favorite. It and Elden ring are shaping up to be 1a and 1b. A being EX33.
I’m afraid to beat the game. I know I can because I’m OP but I just don’t want it to end. I say ohhhh I’ll go finish act 3 up today and then I’m like ehhhhh let me try the dragon again or explore the map for another hour just to make sure I went everywhere etc.
I promised the wife I’d beat it this weekend. The moment I do and clear any remaining end game content….im starting a new file and doing it all over again just with more knowledge and new builds.
There just isn’t anything else I want to play right now. There really isn’t much I want to think about other than EX33.

Got sidetracked after starting last week. Picked it up again today.
I don't know if my brain just isn't working, but I don't understand a thing about Pictos, luminas, Lune's entire attack system, nothing.
Does it get easier to comprehend the skill building?
I used a token at the festival on some irregular picto, but it isn't in my inventory. What's that about?

Equip Picto…fight 4 battles to “learn” picto. You can now use other players lumina points to also “equip” picto.
Other players will gain picto ability. Just not the stats that come with it. Only benefit from stats if it’s one of the 3 main picto equipped.
If that makes sense?
Lune…generate stains by using attacks. Stains enhance other attacks. For example….lets say…your base fire attack generates 1 fire stain each time you use it.
Now let’s say you have a lightning move that generates 1 lightning stain but can have increased damage if you have two fire stains on hand to use before casting
To maximize your lighting attack dmg you would start by casting two fire attacks to generate 2 fire stains…then you use the lightning attack that will consume 2 fire stains for increased damage.
Also hope that makes sense.

Yeah, lets say you find a Blitzed picto. You equip it and it grants 1000 HP and +2 AP on base attack. After you win 4 fights with it, it becomes mastered (indicated by a full border around the diamond). Once it's mastered, anyone else can use Lumina Points to equip it and get the base effect (but not the stat boost). In the case of the Blitzed picto, everyone could equip it for 5, 10, however many lumina points it costs, and then everyone will now have the +2 AP on base attack
For Lune, pay attention to the stains shown on the skill names to know what stains you're going to get. Look in the skill descriptions to know what stains will enhance that specific ability. If the Carson ability generates a fire stain and the Blitzed ability does more damage by consuming a fire stain, you will naturally want to use Carson first and then use Blitz

You will find a use for this.
Trying not to be spoilery.

New collector editions merch was just made available to order on their website. You can preorder until June 12 and they expect to ship Jan 2026. It comes with a bunch of things. I ordered mine. Doesn’t include the physical copy of the game though. Seems they’re having more trouble getting those made somehow.

No thanks on a collectors edition with no game.
Got my main team to level 99 today. Other two are level 95ish. Also mastered all the pictos I have. Will probably play through NG+ if a dlc is announced.

Dark Shores has been a great place to farm once I figured out the patterns.
Also, Verso’s sword that starts him in S is fricking amazing.
Almost guaranteed to have them set up for break after his first attacks.

Ok.
I finally got the "hook." It takes me longer and longer to get the hook as I get older. I keep scouring the countryside for Chroma even though I don't know what it's for.
I've been strictly dodging so far. Do parries make a huge difference in attack percentage?

I want to meet the genius who thought up the turn based with the dodge/parry dynamics added. It’s so addicting and fun

Harder to parry, but significantly more rewarding.

I’ll add that you can practice dodging and getting a “perfect” dodge means your timing it right for a parry

I've never been into turn based games, but this dynamic has made it fun for me.
Gonna try to parry more often now.
