You’ll get it no problem I know it! Once I got that steam rolling that far it was only Simon that really made me want to kill somebody. You can cheese 1 shot him but it took me about 7 hours to do it straight up

Can anyone help me out?
Maelle has an outfit I think it is black, I know I have it because it has an effect in battle that when she does either certain actions or any skill it sort of paints her out and makes her look like a manifestation of death.. I have seen it done in my own game so I know I have it but cant seem to be able to retrigger whatever does it. I have all her outfits.
Any clue? The closest I can find is using her last stand skill where she puts her hp to 1 and gets all her ap and goes to virtuous but this isnt it. It is outfit related
ETA: it is her obscure outfit and only before certain skills that zoom in on her. Sorry lol

If so straight up legit using the tools normally
or looked up an extremely random seemingly ridiculous build out of the party so Maelle can hit him for 100,000,000?
Just curious. He reminds me of sword saint ishin in sekiro dude is fricking on crack
He is more difficult than Melania in elden ring on expert imo, if you dont hit every parry every time youll almost definitely be killed in one hit and he will remove your body if you dont have the auto revive lumina which only works once

Took me over 7 hours to beat him, dude is a MASSIVE step up from anything else as the final secret super boss. You could say there are 3 end game super bosses, but he’s like a god above them.
My winning attempt took 147 parries
You can actually kind of frick yourself more than you want earlier in the game if you dont build out the best weapons for each character. All 5 members must be used in the fight so keeping them leveled up and all lumina filled is a must. If you need advice on weapons lemme know

The Renoir fight at the end of Act 2 is complete and utter bullshite.
He straight up skips my characters turns. It isn’t even a matter of knocking them out. He just skips them entirely.

By time you reach the end of the game everything is reframed to such a degree it’s impossible to actually declare who the villain of the game is. There are multiple different ways of reading the text where many people could conclude 1 of maybe 5 or 6 different people are the actual villain based on their own morals and philosophy. They also do all of this which isn’t enough apparently because this game doesn’t employ the heroes journey archetype, which is almost never seen in any work of fiction in anymore to some degree.
This is one of the most impressive things the game does. Pulling off a story with no heroes journey and no central villain

Do they tell you when Act 1 ends? Does it straight up say ACT 2 or something? I see yall referencing this so I am wondering if I am missing something. I feel like something major happened so just double checking! Please no spoilets. TD01241...you are tip-toeing!

Stone Wave Cliffs is the last area of Act 1. The act officially ends once you beat the Lampmaster boss.
You can return to everything in Act 1 so don't be worried

I'm almost at the end and this may be one of my favorite games of all time.

Agreed. I thought KCD2 was game of the year until this but this is a top 10 all time for me. It’s like if Final Fantasy 10 had a baby with Souls type games
