I’ve found the most successful runs have been zone inside type runs, HB dives, and rpo.
I run power every now and then but it doesn’t work great. I haven’t tried draws or counters, my thought was the line is so bad that it seems like a recipe for the cpu to get negative plays.
I’ve played maybe 30 games now between play now, LSU dynasty and Fresno dynasty and on defense I toggle between playing as one of the ends, or playing as one of my linebackers. I’ve had the most success when I either pinch or spread the dline. If it’s shortage I pinch and then attack the hole with my lb, if it’s a long pass play I’ll spread. If I go zone which I’ve been doing if another team has faster WRs than my corners, I either play on the linebacker and cover a zone or I move to the end and try to spin once engaged.
The cpu has still yet to miss a fg lol

When playing DL, when your guy is in his stance, hold down on your left stick and you’ll get in like a snap timing stance. It turbo the second the ball is snapped and you’ll fire off, timing depending on how fast. Gives you a lot more leverage against OL and moves seem to have more success. You’ll jump offsides though if you hit turbo when they fake snap, just fyi.
You can do this with blitzes too when they get close to the line and are in a blitz stance. Works really well with interior DL. Can blow up run plays but a little riskier to give up a gap.
ETA: Bug, to your comment on running, I’ve seen leverage is a much bigger factor this year. Also, I’ve notice times where guys on the play side are completely unaccounted for sometimes when I’m looking at the OL assignments. Even when I change the Mike identifier, it will leave them unblocked. Need to figure out how to adjust to target a specific player. Pistol runs are really strong. All the I tight runs are strong too right now, especially the toss plays.

Berry and Durham are literal cheat codes and if you have any decent stick work you should be rushing for 200 yards a game with them on Heisman

It is weird having Joel Klatt with Fowler without Herbie. It's almost jarring lol

I feel like Les miles right now I’m running the ball 63 percent of the time with Fresno. It’s part just killing time in second half but also the 1 and 2 backs are just better than anything else they have by a wide margin.
I second the holding left down presnap, I noticed when I did that I’ve blocked or came close on fgs. I have kinda accidentally been doing it on d

You can absolutely fly in if you do it with blitzing slot cb that is in tight

My running sucks. Played my second game before rage quitting after my 3rd fricking interception. Still can’t run.
I despise the coverage audibles with the flick stick bullshite. Why frick with the damn controls every year? Why not give us the option to use the old controls.
I tried the jump snap, which I’m nailing , but my ends still can’t get off their blocks.
I don’t like the game at the moment. I’m just doing play now and it’s beyond frustrating.

I played LSU Tulane first just to get use to it,
Then LSU La tech.
I don’t like the coverage changes I want to hit it like the old game.
I do like the new options though of how to handle stacks and bunches

I only just realized they released this thing for PC which hopefully means it's only a matter of time before it gets working on the steam deck. Then they'll probably get my money. I don't need to play online, or at least competitively. Maybe against friends at most so I wouldn't think potential anti cheat stuff would get me. Last NCAA game I played was the one for PS3. I actually have the last one they had made before the hiatus on an emulator with CFB revamped and some newer games rosters (including the 2019 season roster).

After 1 season with Fresno, I’m starting to think the quick way to build a team into a power house is through the portal.
I made my coach a recruiter and hammered the recruiting out with xp. Deployed a strategy which I’m going to tweak in my next dynasty with Texas state by just having enough guys on board to be able to put 25-50 hours in as opposed to with Fresno I filled the board with guys and used 10 hours as a base. Then once the season starts start to go for key keys that have no offers that are 4/5 star guys and try to sneak them. Then in the offseason after winning and building up the levels to level 4 so I get transfer portal interest build the team through the portal. I found I didn’t have enough NIL to get every transfer I wanted because I wasted some early just getting low level position of need guys in by giving them 5 or 10
NIL.
It feels like with the different ways to build that dynasty should be replayable over and over.

Anyone notice LSUs roster is off? Where is the backup qbs Longstreet and Landon Clark? Not to mention other backups. I’m assuming an update at a later time may fix this?
