I spent two hours just practicing. I really don’t care for Alabama playbook. I’m looking for a typical shotgun passes with some rpo stuff. I hate how every set has a te. I get it with rpo but out of shotgun I should have 4 wr in at least most of the plays. Anyone have a good playbook like that?

Also I did find it funny while practicing Ryan Williams dropped the frick out of the ball pretty consistently.

And if I read correctly if I want to build a team I do that online then import it? I’m trying to decide if I want to start with a small created school or just roll with bama with different playbook

The LSU playbook is pretty good. I also like Fresno states playbook.

It’s a shame they decided to do bullshite with the microtransactions in dynasty and have some dumb shite that is bugging that they didn’t test because the game play is great and they did a great job on presentation and commentary. The pregame coach specific content and going to the sideline reporter at the half is a cool edition.

Cal and Ohio State have some solid ones as well. FIU has a surprisingly good one too.

I’ve been strictly a console player for a long time. Last computer I had for games was over 20 years ago. I’ve been thinking about adding a gaming pc to get access to pc only games.

I’m also interested in mods. Generally speaking, how difficult is it to add mods to a game? Since it’s probably a wide spectrum and depends on the game, how about for something like NCAA 27? Is it closer to plug and play, or more of a longer process to get it to work?

Generally, not very hard at all. Obviously it somewhat depends, but usually they have pretty good step by step instructions to go along with them and a lot of them pretty much do most of the heavy lifting for you.

ETA: Most mods will have some type of mod manager where you can toggle them as active or inactive. You'll launch the game from there instead of steam or wherever. It will do everything for you at that point, biggest thing you'll need to do is download the file. Make sure to inactivate them when wanting to do anything online, but if you're playing offline, go nuts lol.

Also, if you are going to have some mods running, i'd advise turning off the games "auto-update" feature. Some mods don't jive well with game updates, so just a best practices so you get a prompt before the game updates, to make sure you've turned mods off and such if you want to update, or just keep playing offline in your older version. Most mods will push updates too once a game update is live, so they'll be good to go soon after too.

I’ve also noticed they really seem to have leaned in to the style of rb. Fresno state has a 96 speed back but if I start going north south to fast random defenders will catch him before he is gone. Durham with 1 less speed just blows by people.

Ai is tuned up more, the computer has really adjusted to some of the passes I really like to throw. A few games I was feasting on shotgun quad and throwing HB screen because they only had two guys over there but they have started to cover the quad with 4.

The pitch mechanics still kinda suck as well, feel like last year I could never run speed option and the one time I tried with WVU was a fail.

The crowd is kinda interesting when playing with the lower teams like Fresno. It was sold out for Utah to start the season, then basically empty vs sac state, then full again for rival game vs San Jose state. Utah and San Jose I did white out and black out.

What do you mean by style? Like the player archetype?

Yea, the traditional options are really hit or miss right now. I can't remember if it was this way last year or not, but there are two different pitch types now. If you just tap the ptch, it does a lighter, quick toss. If you hold it down, it will do a strong toss. Maybe it was that way last year, I didn't run them enough to remember, but it seemed different.

Yea meant arcatype because that back is an east/west guy. Could also be Durham just has better blockers all around him.

I’m pretty sure it was that way last year with the quick and strong options. I never ran it enough to get the timing down. The ends playing so wide also really gives that play fits

Another kinda cool detail is in creating a coach depending on who the school is with their brand of shoes are in the options.

A lot of RPO and Play action passes for Bama and took out sone good RB screen passes that were good from last year . Defense doesn’t have 4-2-5 either

As others have said , I hope they add more players to the roster . There are only about 3 “real”players at the RB and WR positions so far

Yea, lot of players missing. Auburn has 6 total WR's on the roster currently. When I start the dynasty with them, going to have to hit that position hard

I think a lot of the missing players didn’t fill out paper work correctly or on time. Feel like they had a lot last year that weren’t on it and then they had a massive dump.

I could see schools pushing them to get it done and get on the game for the marketing it gives them.

The dynamic weather is pretty cool, i played the apple cup and set it on snow and first half nothing, 3rd quarter a dusting, fourth quarter the field was covered and it was coming down hard. The wind also seems to be dynamic last game with Fresno state, I scored and wind was blowing 25 mph after it had been 8 all game, then next TD it was 15, then 10 all in the same quarter. That was the first time I’ve ever seen it do that.

I figured I would wait a week or two before starting my long term LSU dynasty to let some updates shake out. So I've been focussing on RTG.

I've done this the last 3 years. I have a 4 year old boy and a 5 year old boy IRL. So I do a RTG for each at a different position. This year the oldest is a TE. Youngest will be a SS.

Anyhow, RTG has also been completely fricked by EA micro-transactions. Both of my RTG accounts I ended up as the #1 player in the nation, 5-star. And both start out as a 60 overall and like 4th/5th on the depth chart. And upgrading their attributes is sooo expensive, that it takes multiple games plus practices to get enough XP to level up your overall by 1 point. So at this rate, they might might be lvl 90-95 going into their senior year.

I've read and heard onlline of dudes winning back to back Heisman's then go into their Senior year and haven't hit 99 yet. WTF

In what fricking world would a 5* #1 player in the country be a 60 overall on the roster his freshman year? Jackson Cantwell (#1 2026 recruit) is a 83 in NCAA CFB 27'

of course.....this was done intentionallyto motivate you to purchase points so you can actually play with your player maxed out for multiple seasons. This isn't 2k wehre you can take your player and go play online. It's an semi-offline, singleplayer mode, and once your senior year is over - that's it. it's the end of their career, you cannot use them again in this game. so you would essentially be burning the money you spent in the end.

bitch move EA.

Bryce Underwood is out of the game because he wasn't getting paid enough.

Crazy to think a dude that got 10 million plus won't accept an offer from EA

It's why coach Sanders isn't in the game. He said EA wouldn't pay him what he wanted.
