I interchange both controllers regularly as it is so controller is a moot point for me.
One is cheaper, smaller, and will have all the necessary online tools such as party chat...etc.
This is why I am buying a PS4.
I am interested in the TV situation, because I would love to get rid of cable. Not sure if the One will eventually get there, but that would be cool.

I think everyone is suspicious of all the new features on each console. But I don't think people should worry that the Kinect sensor will do anything other than ENHANCE their Xbox experience. I mean, I'm not a rocket scientist, but I would think that if MS was using the sensor for anything other than legit shite it would be outed quickly and we would all profit from their desire to spy

Like you said, that's opinion. Too many of Playstation's go to exclusives are weak on gameplay and heavy on cutscene/atmosphere. Not my thing.
I haven't rented a game since Sega Genesis
It seems like MS is going beyond entertainment apps but I don't think this issue is worth debating.
As I said in another thread, MS would get blasted for that quote. Its vague and doesn't mention Sony server support. I get the feeling that Sony is putting all of that on the developers. If Sony doesn't offer dedicated servers this gen, that's a huge issue. I only play multiplayer and co-op.
$100 more for something you will have at least 7 years seems silly to worry about.
I'm not sure what the console's size has to do with anything. Generally speaking, each console will be placed in an interchangeable space.
Online tools that were lacking last gen and we've yet to see in action.
I don't think we'll see that anytime soon. Cable providers are still very powerful.

I am looking to purchase a gaming console.
And right now, the Playstation 4 is the better gaming console.
Did the Xbox One games at E3 look better, yeah, but they are launching titles, and I am not putting a lot of stock into those.

Not sure how either side can definitively say which console will have the better exclusives with so many new IPs that no one here has played yet. That's a silly argument to make.
Now saying a certain console's exclusives look more appealing to you is a different story but that's not what Taylor and others have been doing. They are saying it like it's a fact.
