Yeah its playable alone but its not gonna work alone. Ark and Ruse are playable alone but its always better in a squad

I called it in the E3 thread right before it was revealed what it actually was. It was fairly obvious it wasnt an RPG

I like the always online shared world element. But let's be real. You're on a map four times the size of fo4 with 35 other people...how often are you really going to run into someone else?

you would have to really piss someone off to make them track you down.
even then im sure people will focus solely on pvp...but whats the reward. resources for building? seems exploring the world would yield more loot.

I do wonder how it will mess up exploring. Sometimes the feeling of being alone is the best part. Along with fighting someone off when I'm just trying to read a terminal.

Another point Howard made last night was that you're going to be on a server with maybe 16 other people, not 100. And if the map is as big as they say it is, it's not going to be like COD, close quarter chaos.

I have enjoyed, to various extents, each game in the Fallout franchise. I'll give this one another go as well.
