I played Battle Royale for a few hours last night and didn't notice anything fricked up...what changed?

The new update including the frozen maps seemingly has frozen everything lol. I played one or 2 games, but any time I return to the home screen, clicking on any multiplayer option puts me on the battlepass screen. Looks like a bunch of people are having this issue with the menu screen
ETA - the snow/freezing maps are really cool though. Your goggles start to freeze, restricted FOV, I figured out going near a burning barrel defrosts them.

My biggest complaint with EA/DICE games is spending all their time on aesthetics and polish instead of fixing the actual core mechanics of the game. I don't get it. It's like polishing a turd.

Seriously. I would love to see what their testing protocols are like prior to a release. I work in a quasi-tech related position, and ANY update we receive from the SaaS items we use are thoroughly tested prior to accepting and rolling them out to our company.
I know people joke that in gaming the users are the testers, but damn, make sure something as vital as the main menu is functioning before pushing a 17gb update.

If I play a game and quutto menu, I have to restart the game to be able to select anything from the menu. Seeing alot of people with this issue.
Hope they fix this quick or people will bail. I'm already in bf6 3x. Once on steam and my pc played it like shite. Once on Xbox, and the old lady took that over, and again on ps5 so I can play lol.

I had this same issue once last night with the menu. I also noticed we played one round of Initiation Battle Royale with bots, and all the shots that hit us from bots were direct to the health and by passed the armor plates, not sure if that's an intended function or not.

I played REDSEC and it was kinda fun. Endgame was won by a tank in the open. Not playing again.

I played a total of 5 games. I don't care for it. I like the BF experience/multiplayer much better.

I haven't had any issues on the main game.
I've never played the BR. Not sure I will.
The only thing about this game i don't like is the insane lack of awareness half the player base has.

I'd rather bots sometimes tbh.
The amount of times I'll be watching the right flank, only to have an enemy run through 4 teammates on the left flank, kill me, then leave without being shot is astronomical.

This is true. I've watched medics run around me and just die like I did.
