Yeah it was fun for a minute to scratch the BR itch but the experience isn't good right now enough to look past the bad stuff. I also have zero faith in EA to fix anything which is a shame because the core gameplay is good.

I’m glad they nerfed the weapon and class unlock challenges.

I feel like they got a bit heavy handed with the challenge nerfs! A lot of them took me forever and now they can be done in 1-2 games

Eh, I don’t want to spend 15 games mag dumping lmg rounds into a bunker five inches away from actual kills. Just give me the god damned LMG.
Also, maybe this will incentivize people to actually play the objective/game type instead of chasing x of 5000 arbitrary bullshite.

yup. i can see it both ways. I’m just salty because I was that guy wasting time to unlock guns/equipment.

I would play Casual Breakthrough and smoke the shite out of choke points near objectives. That one took a while for me.
Same for the LMG suppressions CordnDog is talking about.

I only had one left to get last night. It took FOREVER to trigger. I was blind firing into mobs and it finally gave it to me.
I had 9 suppressions prior to that, through just random gameplay. I was so relieved to see 9/10 on that counter, post-nerf. I cannot imagine having to get 300 of those cocksuckers.

Did the smoke assist challenge earlier this morning. Not exactly the most refined method but I played breakthrough and spammed the objective with smoke. Really worked well on defensive positions.
Getting enough damage at 75 meters to unlock the first challenge with that peashooter dmr was godawful. At least the second phase lets you transition to a sniper rifle.

I knocked out most of the challenges in custom lobbies with bots only. The codes are Y91YQ and for tank and aircraft challenges use YX2Q6. Just make sure to use a password so you are the only real person in the lobby

The problem is you have no idea how a gun behaves until you get attachments. If they would have the firing range and completely unlock everything in there to try, I wouldn’t mind at all doing it normal.
The leveling is way too slow for guns when we are trying to level for Redsec.
