Battle royale had its moment in the sun nearly a decade ago.
Now everybody feels obligated to tack it onto their game to keep up with the joneses. Divides the attention of the developers away from maintaining their mainline games in order to balance and maintain both modes. Is also a big entry point for loot boxes/goofy paid skins in an effort to monetize the free BR mode.
Overrated mode is overrated.
I’ll try it, but I’m usually only good for a handful of matches before I tap out.

Played a few matches. It’s solid. I’m liking it. Idk about the tanks tho

I felt like i was running in quick sand in battle royale. It doesn't run as smooth as COD, but graphics and the fire and something different than the same ole COD is refreshing. If it was more of a smooth flowing game i wouldn`t hesitate playing it and recruiting my normal group over to BR.

Yup. It’s a little rough around the edges but has promise. All depends on if they invest in it.
Speaking of the pinging system: I was watching some live streams yesterday and it seems as if running Recon and using the recon drone for your team to spot enemies also doesn’t work?
Anyone try Gauntlet? I played 2 matches with randos and had a lot of fun with it. It’s 10-12 teams of 4 competing in different match types. Lowest teams get eliminated each round. I went off in the more TDM style rounds and carried my sorry arse team to 2nd place one match. Was fun, would be even more fun with a solid group of 4 communicating.
