Are the "free" weapons better balanced than previous battlefield titles? There's nothing more frustrating than being outgunned by someone because they dropped $100 on extra EA coins and bought a ridiculously OP weapon.

I haven’t noticed any weapon balancing issues. I don’t even know if there is even a Meta. Most guns I have played with from the start have been good and competitive…unless I meet a shotgun face to face.

SGX might be one of the best guns right now due to the lack of bloom.

Also I don’t recall much pay to win stuff in BF outside of maybe some DLC guns from the past but usually those were on par with everything else. You could typically run starter weapons and be fine for the entire life of the game.

Paid for the deluxe edition out of appreciation for making a game that wasn't horseshite focused on streamers and skins. I'm not even sure what I got with it but I've been having a great time. Campaign is fun too!

I only have 2 hours in the campaign....I've enjoyed it.

The MP may not be my cup of tea. I'll play some more, but I just think I'm not cut out for large scale battle stuff.

Same

That's probably one of my only gripes. For as cluttered as the menus are, there's zero that shows progression, future unlocks, what you've already unlocked, etc.

You need a squad. Make your impact in a small area of the battlefield.

I agree with the menus outside of the game lobby. Progressions and unlocks could be better or easier to access.

I also find that hit reg is a little off at times. Like I hit a guy…I hear and see the markers butttt he has 100% health on the kill cam.

I dont understand recoil on kbm. Smgs feels like a laser but I cannot get a good spray on an ar. Feels artificially difficult

BF has 2 different systems at play, bloom and a recoil pattern. You’ll need to learn to tap/burst fire at medium to long ranges and hip fire at close range. The longer you hold the trigger the wilder your shots will be.

The recoil pattern is easy coming from CS. Bloom must be the shite value

it is. bloom takes place when you hold down the trigger on automatic weapons in BF. I’m not super used to it being a COD player

Just happy i can maintain a 1.1 playing objective as a solo, early am degen hours are nothing but recon campers. Tough to get anywhere. I just now decided to look qhat the bind is for prone. Been so long since i had to even think about drop shotting.

This makes sense. I have no plan or any idea where to go to get stuff done on the big maps. The small map playlist (can’t remember the name of the playlist) was pretty fun.
