It’s always a pain to try and get in for a launch day for something like this.
Didn’t feel the need to take off work.

I don't understand why companies refuse to rent or just have extra servers ready for day one and scale them back. It's not like Dice or EA or whomever does Battlefield right now has no use for extra servers.

if you’re on a PC and trying to play it through the EA app, there are known problems. EA scrambling to fix.

Yes EA app. Hope it gets fixed by tonight so I can play. I uninstall and I'm reinstalling now. I tried the repair option and that did not work either.

may want to follow Doc’s stream on Rumble. He’s over there fighting for his life to keep the stream up without gameplay and his subs throwing out a million different solutions to try.
EA is aware of the issue and working on resolving it. If you follow the steam Im sure Doc will be notified as quick as there is a fix or workaround.

BF is actually back.
COD isn’t going anywhere but it’s nice to see a BF game that’s really back in the mix and challenging this stale state of FPS gaming.

i think COD is in for a very rude awakening this year.
BLOPS 7 is essentially a BLOPS 6 DLC. And their baby, Warzone is literally the same exact Warzone everyone has been playing for the last several years. BLOPS 7 is just a couple new maps, new guns, and new camos. There’s literally no innovation and people are tired of battling overtuned SBMM, poor hit detection because SBMM not ping is prioritized in matchmaking, and constant cheaters just to play a DLC.
So unless you’re a COD streamer or in it for the camo grind, there’s just no motivation to buy or play it with BF6 and ARC Raiders stealing the spotlight in 2025.
They should’ve taken the year off and spent all their time, money, and resources on making an incredible MWIII.

I agree but the FOMO is strong.
People just don’t like to miss out on new CoD titles. It will be all over streaming, YouTube, etc…it’s the same cycle.
How do I know? Cuz that shite gets me every time. I play for a week or two and then I’m out. Like clockwork.
They still get my money and they don’t care if I hate the game. They still sell copies because people want their guns prepped for Warzone…even if it’s a shite game.
It would take a mass exodus to send a statement that CoD would consider listening to.

They literally just announced they are getting rid of SBMM. Battlefield finally spooked them

I’ll give it to them. For years they tried telling us there was no SBMM, then said it was a minor factor in matchmaking.m, and finally now they are providing a SBMM free playlist.

Decided to sleep at 1030 instead of play tired. Gonna do the campaign so i get used to all my gadget buttons and shite since i havent played hardcore eince bf3.

its fun I do wish they made shotguns op like in the beta and the movement was more fluid like in the beta again.
