Of course. It has already hit 1.7 million preorders on Steam alone. It is going to be a massive success.

According to a report from The Game Business, 1.7 million copies of Battlefield 6 have already been pre-ordered on Steam, with another five million units expected to sell during its first week after launch. The data, sourced from Ampere Analysis, also notes that the beta version has been a major success, attracting 22 million players over the past few months.

Gaming market research firm Newzoo published its own estimates, placing the total number of beta participants even higher, at 25 million. The firm reported a peak concurrent player count of 10.4 million – more than double the 5.1 million peak recorded during the Battlefield 2042 beta.

you’re in for a real good time. Dice is absolutely bringing it this year with the return of boots on the ground combat arcade military shooter loaded with content the fans have asked for.

At this point the only thing I’m remotely concerned about is server stability in Week 1. That and the inability to squad up with friends murdered BF2042 from the start. Hoping for a smooth launch!

Imagine if BF3 had cross platform support...what could have been.

Get ready for all out war. BF BC2, BF3, and BF4, were excellent fps games. This looks to be on par with much better graphics.

It’s on EA’s store, too.

It will make you download EA's launcher. It will need EA's launcher to open, even from Steam.

I guess having preload avail 3 days early is a good sign for stability

took a personal day Friday.

….but already had someone put a “all hands” meeting on my calendar for 10AM. So I’ll have to pause the Day 1 shenanigans for at least an hour. blaah.

Yeah it's a great thing, especially with the PC community for BF being so damn large. I can turn that off and not have to face console poors with aim assist.

I'll play along for a minute

(1) when we're online in a lobby, my $500 X and your $3k pc, might as well have the same specs
(2) i wasn't aware that console was the only platform that used assists
(3) seeing above, I guess thats why PC players are known to simply shoot through walls, etc...

I assume, after 25 or so years of being a console peasant, but owning multiple PCs that could run games, that the only reason to work all day on a PC, then go home and play on one, is that I need to cheat

PC players that use a controller have the same aim assist as those on console.

This is me lol. I can never get all the key bindings down enough to keep using m&k. Controller just seems much easier altough i do wish i could use mouse to aim lol
