Ok, so I'm actually anxious to see this premiere. I'm a heavy Rainbow Six: Siege player, but I think this would be a great change-up for me especially if they're going WWII.

The only concrete information I've ever heard was one of the EA or DICE head guys saying that BF5 would be a modern military shooter that would be close to the roots of BF3.
There was a goofy WWI rumor that sounds pretty awful. There are a lot of people who would love a return to WWII for any franchise, but I haven't heard anything about BF5 being a WWII shooter. There have also been lots of people wanting BF5 to be BF2143 (a futuristic game) or BFBC3 (a sequel to the Bad Company series).
My best guess is it's going to be along the lines of BF3 and BF4. I wouldn't doubt if the franchise gets a fresh take next go round. Not to mention the name "Battlefield 5" naturally means it's a successor to BF2, BF3 and BF4.

My first thought was that the dude might be wearing a ww2 era marine corps poncho. And then i felt it move.
But the one the guy is wearing looks like it has a hood, which the marine corps ponchos didnt. Thats the best i can do with that 8 second piece of shite.

At this point I would be surprised if this isn't WW2. I'm buying into the DICE hype, frick it. Tomorrow is going to be amazing.

I don't know what to think. I'm cautiously optimistic. I don't want WWI or future crap that's for sure. I'm okay with WWII. I'd much rather Vietnam or modern.

WW2 or Vietnam would be awesome. But i'm certainly open to WWI as well. Long hair, don't care as long as it's not Battlefield: COD Infinity Halo TitanFall Warfare.
