I like how they are crediting Ubisoft for ending gamergate.

Ubisoft is falling on their sword for all of us

In all this hub bub I almost forgot about The Division. I have now gone from hopeful for that game to quite certain it will be treated similarly by Ubisoft.

The oldest charge is one that’s going to resonate well into the future. Ubisoft has been a master of creating eye-catching, buzz-building cinematic trailer for their games, using actual pre-rendered CGI, but also stylized gameplay. But the problem is now, the gameplay shown at events like E3 simply doesn’t match the final product. That was most prominently on display with Watch Dogs, but it’s already happening again with The Division, which seems to get less visually impressive the closer it gets to becoming a reality.

Kind of sad. I've always like ubisoft.

I never had any doubt the division wouldn't look like that. It's a shame really but I have no excitement for any of their games at this point. Beware of Rainbow Six...

It will look good enough. Gameplay is the main issue for me in that series.

Graphics have been the least of ubisoft's problems lately.

Ubisoft acted terribly and they should pay for their mistakes.

Made the right choice

I thought there was going to be a Day 1 patch, but I haven't seen it. Maybe the bad press lit a fire under their asses and they've decided to spend a few more days fixing more stuff.
If we're focusing on things that can realistically be fixed, the worst parts are of the game right now are the textures and animations, and that includes animation responsiveness and collision. Some of the shite I'm seeing in screenshots as well as in my own game remind me of what happens when you install a couple of highly incompatible Skyrim mods.
Today I walked past a dense crowd, and there were so many copy-pasta NPCs in one spot that a few of them were standing on top of another NPC's head.
