Game seems to be getting a lot of hype around the internet. Seems to have taken the best ideas from mmorpgs from the last 10 years and put it all in one game.
Graphics look really good and the building systems are intriguing.
It seems a bit more RP than MMORPG. Not sure though. People are calling it the WoW killer. Doubtful.
Only mentioned on these forums buried in a thread, so I thought I'd give it it's own.

Asmongold interviewed the lead developer. It's basically exactly how WoW was first created. A bunch of rich gamers tired of shitty games that want to make an MMO that they want to play. They aren't tied to any studio and it's all self/community-funded. After hearing the interview I'm much more optimistic about the game, but it's ambitious as hell. If it delivers on what it wants to accomplish, it'll easily be the best MMO ever.

Been playing GW2 lately since I've given up on WoW but, from what you posted I'll definitely give this a shot when it comes out.

It's got a while. Not even officially in alpha yet. 2 years out was the estimation given but I'd be shocked if they finish everything they're doing in 2 years. The design of this game is a massive undertaking.

It has. It's the most popular MMO at the moment.
Ashes of Creation does have a good bit of hype building for it though.

Asherons Call 2 was the last MMORPG I played that I genuinely enjoyed. If I can ride a bear and be a murderous paladin I'm sold.
