I think the Kinect ship has sailed....a whole lot of their entertainment aspect of E3 was based on being able to shout shite at your One and it instantly happening.
Therefore I think that price tag is going to stay the same.

oh, and as for me, I won't be getting either at launch. I'd rather wait for the second or third batch of systems after the inevitable bugs are found and worked out.
Right now I'm very much leaning towards PS4 and will probably get a WiiU when the new Mario Kart is out.

I've got a wii u sitting beside me at the moment that I've yet to open. My dad won it at a work function and didn't want it, so they gave it to me.
Is it just a wii with a different controller? I've never even looked up anything about them
ETA: What is the difference between the Day One and Standard edition XB1s? The Standard is available for preorder on Amazon, but the day one is not

That's right, I did forget about that. PS4 comes with a standard headset and Xbone gives your mic with Kinect. That's a weird 180. I used the same headset that came with my 360 at launch till it broke just a few months ago.

Don't sell that Wii U to Taylor or Ouaron. They are PS4 fanboys that think you're dumb for going with the One.

But really, anyone know the difference between 'standard' and 'day one' XBOXONEs? I wouldn't think much of it, but they're listed separately on Amazon and one is available, one's listed as 'Notify when available'
