re: ARC raiders

It's not as bad when playing with friends and can communicate with team. This game really shows how terrible some people can be lol the backstabbing while just trying to loot is wild. PvP is cool and all and has its place but to me it's much more enjoyable when we all fight arc.

two absolute naked runs (spawn in with nothing) in spaceport back to back.
60k walk out each with 2 bobcats and a venetor.

I tried it on my own a few weeks ago and HATED it. One of my friends started playing it and conned me into partying up with him. It is infinitely more fun when you have a few friends playing with you. It also gets much better after the initial slog of the first few levels of upgrade when you are getting killed by everything that moves. Got my guy from level 2 up to level 20 over the weekend. Finally taking down rocketeers solo and winning most PVP matchups.

Solos can be fun win chasing specific loot or quest, people are friendly, for the most part, and some will gladly help take down bigger arc.

squads are fun, i really wish it was up to 4 people though.

The expedition skill point requirements suck to see as casual gamer but i like the idea of a reset....especially when I have no good blueprints.

As someone who has played since a week after launch very causally and have gotten myself to around level 25.

If they do a forced reset I’m probably just going to quit playing. Extraction shooters were never my cup of tea. This was a nice surprise but I don’t need a second job grinding to get stuff I already have.

All I can say is 1000% do not sleep on adrenaline shots.

Just saved my arse. Playing on the Dam. Under 10 minutes to go. Nearest extract point is 600 yards away. Out of all Ferro ammo, only have Burletta left. Took down Rocketeer so I had decent loot.

I am absofrickinglutely surrounded by at least 7-10 wasps and hornets when I get about 300 yards from extract. They are wrecking me. Shields gone. I’m starting to mentally accept defeat.


I pop an adrenaline and just start booking it no gun in hand. I see a diagonal zip line that gets me to the platform where the extract is. I hit it with full momentum stray bullets taking me below quarter health.

Rando is also sprinting to extract he hits button. We run into room. He heals me. There is an absolute army of Arc waiting for us out of the room. Elevator comes up and we just Hail Mary run to the elevator. Absolutely insane that I survived.
