Anyone still play Overwatch?

It's my go-to shooter but I find myself getting frustrated with it more and more. Seems like the new characters they've introduced are all shitty and it makes the game even more frustrating. Hammond is bullshite, such a cheap character and totally unfair. Baptiste with his little invincibility shield is a slap in the face to long time players and is a total cop out for bad healers.
I still play just about every day but it's getting harder and harder to have fun without getting frustrated with the new characters, plus the reworks they did on long existing characters that completely changed them, like Symmetra and Torb.

havent played it in 8 months or so. kinda miss it, I was hooked for a long time

I'm still hooked for better or worse, but lately it seems like they're pandering to bad players. Symmetra's turrets are way too powerful and take no skill to deploy. Baptiste has the invincibility shite that was already served by Zenyatta. Don't even get me started on Briggite. And Hammond is the dumbest fricking character that I could ever imagine and is way overpowered with too many skills. Full mobility, high damage, can do boops, can self-heal, etc.
When it works I still have fun, when it doesn't I wonder why I still play this game. That never really happened to me with shooters in the past, and I blame the devs for trying to please too many different types of players.

I'm reminded of the USAS with unlimited frag rounds when you played support in Battlefield 3. Just totally unfair but it "levels the playing field."

I'll play the special event co-op stuff, and I'll occasionally play some Mystery Heroes.
I haven't played a single match of Comp this season, and the last two seasons before I just did the 10 qualifying matches to get the points for the golden weapons.

Their ranking system is so broken that there is no point in trying to climb. They purposefully make it difficult to climb tiers by having an uneven point system. You can lose more SR in one loss than you gain in a win. That's a broken arse system.

I'm still playing on X-Box, but I've only had the game for about a year. Definitely frustrating sometimes with Sombra, Brig, Mei, etc and their CC basically removing your ability to play.

In the grand scheme of it all, the OW subreddit has 2.2M subs and is still going up. Their twitch channel for Overwatch League has like $100K viewers most nights. Weirdly enough, it doesn't have many big daytime streamers anymore that attract a large audience.
I think the game is here to stay tho - it has mass casual appeal.

Personally, FPS games lose their luster quickly if I'm playing by myself.
You need to find at least one, if not multiple friends to play with.

It’s definitely a game you can play for 3 hours and look back and realize you haven’t had an ounce of fun playing.
You definitely need a team to play comp or you’ll just rage the entire time because of your potato teammates.
I’m still fully addicted though and can’t stop playing on xbox
