That's a wrap for us. No turnip exchange so the numbers aren't super gaudy, but y'all and my wife's friends were plenty generous. We made out with:

Hi everyone - this probably sounds dumb but I know nothing about this game but want to impress my wife. She’s really into it but just went on a quick beach trip with the in-laws for a week. She “bought some turnips” on Sunday and asked me if I could sell them for her before Sunday since she won’t be back until next week.
I’ve never played this game in my life but would love to blow her away by being able to score a cool deal or something. Are there any good tips for selling these things? She says she bought them for $109 each and I just checked and they’re selling for $70

Check this thread throughout the day tomorrow. Hopefully someone will have a spike on their turnips and they share a dodo code. Go to the airport and enter the code to go to that person's island and sell. it's also a good idea to leave a tip when you leave

Depends. If you're not well-versed at the game, then a simple cut of your profits usually suffices. How many turnips do you have?
Without going into great detail, here are some things to keep in mind:
- there are two price windows per island per day, 8AM-12PM and 12PM-10PM. Prices vary across islands, so the surest way to make bank on turnips is to travel to other islands.
- times are local. Most of us are CST or EST.
- in a group of this size (~10 players actively checking prices), chances are really good that someone will "spike" at 400+ during the week, which is a really good number.
- There are places online that have dozens or hundreds of players posting 500-600 prices every damn day. Those places are usually a madhouse though and they carry risk if you're not careful.
- read the last few pages of this thread--I actually nailed a spike this afternoon. You can read the narrative, including some of the tips left behind. We had (I'm guessing) about 25 folks come through between my circle and my wife's. (Sorry you missed out today, but it sounds like we might get another spike from BCLA or FiddleHead tomorrow.)

My spike was 351 this morning, not as much as we've seen but still decent. Anyone who didn't get to Jesse yesterday or still has some to sell is more than welcome to come by! I'll leave it open for a bit this morning and then again around 11cst. Please feel free to share with any friends you know as well.
