Ketchup is the best. I’m not sure why she’s not more highly rated online. Feels like half the posters here have her now. She throws great parties too
She is awesome!!! She was the last villager we got. We love her!

Raymond is at my campsite today. Usually it's the terrible looking villagers so this is a pleasant surprise.

Thanks for the tips. Got all my wasps today!
What’s up with the art dealer? Is some fake and some legit?

How are y’all finding festival feathers in animal crossing? Are there other ballon recipes for festival or no?

Oh wow, congrats. That's a top tier find.

I'm pretty sure Festivale is just on Feb 15, and the feathers are only there that day, but I might be wrong. So far it's just the clothing items on sale at Ables and the one seasonal item in Nooks a day that seems stuck to your island's festivale color (mine is red, ugh).

Yep. Redd is a shady mofo
I always ask him to let me inspect each piece of art and I compare it to this list:
LINK
Some art pieces only have a legit version and some have several different kinds of fake versions. He's not guaranteed to have any legit art, or all four could be legit, it's mostly random.
Even if all are fake, you may want to display something (statue in a garden, painting in your home). Fakes work well for that. I have a bunch of fake paintings up in my study in my house and a fake statue in the garden that I like better than the real statue.

Here are a few other guides I have saved in bookmarks that I use often:
LOST ITEM GUIDE - When a villager loses an item you get more friendship points for returning it right the first time without another villager helping. You can inspect the item for a description and match it on this chart (you have to click to expand the chart).
Raise your Happy Home Academy Score - Every Sunday morning you should start getting mail from the HHA (Happy Home Academy) ranking your house based on if you have normal house stuff in it (kitchen, dresser, bed, etc.), how many things of a matching color are in a room, how much Feng Shui you have going on. You can win plaques and trophies for leveling your house up. It's easier the more rooms you have, as every room can help earn points.
Label's Fashion Challenge Guide - Can help you figure out what to wear to get the max benefit from Label's Fashion Challenge (she may not visit your island until you've gotten Mabel and Sable's shop built).
Villager House Exterior Guide - Some people are picky about what the outside of their villager houses look like for aesthetic purposes. If that's you, here's a list of what they all look like.
Stalk Market Forecaster On Sundays, Daisy Mae will show up from I think 6a-12p selling turnips. Every day Mon-Sat, Nooks will have a different price they are willing to buy turnips back at from when the shop opens to noon, and noon until the shop closes. If you're trying to play the stalk market and earn money this way, you can use this website to track what your prices are and it can help you predict when the best time to sell might be. The more data you feed it the better it is, and if you can do it several weeks in a row it can really help narrow down your best sale windows. You can sell turnips at other people's islands too - most around here don't check their prices or track anymore, but places like Turnip Exchange can let you visit strangers who are usually looking for some kind of cut to allow you to sell there. You can also use Turnip Exchange to visit someone else's Daisy Mae to buy at their price instead of your own, or to visit when someone else has Celeste/Stars.
VillagerDB I use VillagerDB to help track what I have and what I need. I have a list of fish and bug models I don't have so I know what to hold 3 of to give to CJ or Flick. I have a list of art I have donated and art I still need. KK Slider songs, Fossils, DIYs, time limited holiday stuff. It's great for that.
I also have a phone app called ACNH.GUIDE that lets me plug in what fish/bugs/sea creatures I have and it can tell me what's available that month that time of day and what I do and don't have on that list. It can help you build checklists of how many wasps you've caught today, if you've hit all your rocks, etc.

Saaaaaaaame,
Why couldn't they have had one traditional purple/green/yellow combo!

Also about Redd - a few of his fake stuff is "haunted". The coolest ones are the fake Informative statue that glows blue at night and the fake ancient statue that has glowing green eyes and levitates when you interact with it.

The fake informative statue is the one I have in my flower garden, it rules.

I agree. Definitely check out the fake Ancient statue if you get a chance. It is awesome too. There is also a painting that closes her eyes but I didn't think that one sounded all that exciting

Anybody got an extra Aquarius fragment they could mail or drop off on my island? I’ve done 3 meteor showers and didn’t get more than one, and with my joycon drift, it makes meteor showers a big pain in the you know what. I want to build the urn

Still fairly new to AC but how do you visit or mail?

Question...I just started playing this game with my son last week. Why is there no way to set up 2 islands? Am I missing something? Do we just each set up a different character and live on same island ?
Posted on 2/10/21 at 9:46 am to Uncle JackD
One island per Switch.
I hated it at first, but now I'm actually glad they set it up that way. The amount of time you spend playing it with your kids and planning layout changes, villager hunting, etc makes it worth it imo.

Can me and my son co-op play? will me playing without him mess up his game?
Posted on 2/10/21 at 12:46 pm to Uncle JackD
You absolutely can. There's certain things you can't both do playing co-op but you can fish and catch bugs together. It also comes in handy when you're wanting to clear areas out as one person can dig up flowers while the other chops trees and such.
And it won't affect his game at all if you play without him. Just be mindful that the island is shared so any structural changes will show up for everyone. Multiple players come in handy with certain island visitors too, gives you more opportunities to buy things/ earn rewards for tasks.
