When the Singularity comes to pass, doing E in Animal Crossing will of high demand.

Can anyone mail me a gift pile and/or some garbage bags? I can never get red wrapping paper from Nooks and I have logged 500 hours into this game but haven't fished up enough trash to get the garbage bag recipe.
In exchange I can ship over a few NMT or craft other recipes

Yeah this the first time really playing a game like this. Never been into games like AC before. I’ve been reading this thread and looking online to make sure I’m starting right. One question I do have is, can I move my tent or is it set?

You can move every structure but Resident Services.

Forgive my ignorance but how?

Later on in the game you can pay Tom for moving kits.

You are stuck with it where it is for the time being - as you progress through the more structured part of the game (Tom Nook's chores for upgrading house / shops / island service buildings), eventually he will start offering options in his internal menu for relocating villager houses, shops/museum, or your house. It will cost a lot of bells.
My recommendation is to play through with where you're at and as you get access to beyond the rivers and above the cliffs, and eventually the terraforming tool, figure out what location will make you 100% happy before you move it because it's not cheap and you probably don't want to do it more than once. You might also find that once you have the terraforming tool (that's an end game tool) you may not need to move it because you can reshape the island around where it is for free.

You may not be able to move structures right away but eventually it's an option when you talk to Tom Nook in Resident Services. ACNH was my quarantine game. It was a great game to play while having mindless television on in the background or when you're halfway watching a football game.
That'd be great BCLA! If you have extra red wrapping paper that'd be great. I would also exchange 5 NMT for a garbage bag or two, white or black. I want some by my trash can

Thanks for the trash bags Mike! I will send some NMT your way. BCLA I'm good on the wrapping paper now. The universe sensed I asked for it so of course Nooks has it today
Oh awesome. That's good cuz I just literally messaged you because apparently you can't mail wrapping paper.
Eta: saw your reply, I do need to come check out your island again soon but the gf is hassling me to go with her to Academy so heading out the door.
