I remember twitch pre Amazon.
Was so much more fun, way less rules, way less corporate bullshite, just more authentic.
There are still good streamers but the whole site's culture has dramatically changed very quickly.
It's similar to what happened to youtube, just on an even more accelerated pace.

I legit DGAF if you're liberal or conservative, I'm not interested in the political views of random strangers when I'm trying to enjoy a game.
Also, in Among Us, I would agree they should ban as much political content as possible because muting/silencing a player isn't really an option. The game is predicated on being able to communicate. This isn't COD or Overwatch, where if you start screaming "MAGA!" or "Biden rules!" I can just mute you and go about the game.
I have very little sympathy for people who waste other people's time doing stupid shite like that and then get censored or kicked.
There's a PoliBoard if you want to scream your political opinion into the Ether. Or Facebook, where maybe your friends will give two shits about your opinion. I seriously doubt DragonPoonSlayer69 is going to provide in-depth political conversation and debate.
Not that it stops people from bitching about politics in every side board on this site either.

Twitch is a company determined to make money above all else.
If a guy cleaning his gun with a Trump hat on and playing Sweet Home Alabama in the background gets a million viewers a night, they're not going to give a shite about his politics.
