I beat Waterblight Ganon today. Just loaded up on some defensive food and armor, and took him down.

Waterblight was the boss that gave me the most trouble, but he was also the first. I’m sure there will be a sequel in this generation and they’re working on it now, but they need to greatly improve the bosses and dungeons for the sequel. I really hope they take it to Termina.

Would all of that prep help with 3 hearts only?

Yeah I think so. Also if you sleep at the inn at Zoras domain on the water bed for 80 rupees you’ll get 3 extra hearts.

If you have a bunch of iron shrooms cook 5 of those and it’ll give you 4:00 mins of high level defense

Is that strong enough to withstand a hit by a flying block?

It makes the damage less, but you can just use cryoststis on the blocks in the water.

I just try and make an ice wall to protect me from them, or hit them out of the air.

Then I switch to the bow and go for the eyes.

Good thinking. I would explore for a few more shrines and get your hearts up a bit. I’ve done about 24 shrines so far and I just got my 8th heart.

Thanks.

I guess Dark Souls got my confidence up on learning enemies to kill them without taking damage.

It has proven rather difficult here...

Found a blue with a white mane lynel after I completed all the divine beasts (unrelated). Promptly got my arse handed to me. Scary thing to lose 13 hearts from 1 hit.

Use your shield to counter. Lynels are simple once you get the timing for this.

Shield counter > arrows to face > mount dat arse

gotta upgrade that armor if your going on a Lynel killing crusade, your mastersword I think should glow, and add that with Urbosa's fury and he should be pretty simple if you know your evasive timing on his rampage swings, stomps, and charges.

Forgot about mounting the arse. First try coming back and that Savage Lynel was no match for me.

I knocked out two divine beasts, and I’ve been shrine hunting lately. I’m almost up to the 13 Hearts needed for the master sword.

I knocked this out yesterday. He wasn't that hard, but those damn ice blocks were a bitch at first. Any suggestions on which divine beast to go after next? Does it matter?

It doesn’t really matter, each one just gets progressively harder as you go along no matter the order. I did the one in Goron City next to death mountain. Make sure you do the quest in the mine to get the heat resistance armor though.

Got the Master Sword last night. Time to start wrecking Moblins! Kind of disappointed it was only a 30 attack though.
