How did Bethesda become such a bottom tier company? Why would you get away from the things that took you to the top?

ETA: I wasn’t really expecting TES6 news but I’m melting anyway.

Pretty sure they said not to expect ES6 or Fallout news. Those types of games just take so long to develop

Didn’t love Wolfenstein 2’s gameplay. Everything else was great, but it just wasn’t that fun to play.

Interested to see if they improve the combat for this one.

Because you need revenue between the big releases.

Too much mobile stuff, but Bethesda at least is showing some gameplay. Which is nice after a day of never ending cinematic trailers.

Awful conference... more doom is cool but we already know what to expect from it. Two cool game announcements with no gameplay. Bethesda doesn’t need their own hour and a half slot. Do a video like Nintendo Direct or announce at Microsoft.

Just a down year for them. They will have the Star game probably next year. And likely a teaser for ES6. Just too many mobile games from them for a gamers conference

Doom looks incredible, as expected

Ghostwire looked really cool, looking forward to following that

Biggest hype: Elden Ring, I'm expecting God tier and very confident I'll get it.

Cyberpunk will also be great but I still hate it being first person.

Doom Eternal in November makes me sad as I read a "spoiler" last week it was going to be September which woulda been perfect. There's pretty much nothing for me until then and that's also Death's Stranding's release month.

I have no idea wtf Death Stranding will be like but I can guarantee Doom Eternal will be far more actual fun to play.

My first ever in theater movie as a kid was Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Think I was 4-5yrs old. It was right before Kindergarten.

He holds a special place in my heart.

100% agree. But after seeing gameplay last year I'm fine with it. That hopping in and out of the virtual world just didn't work in 3rd person.

The new Battletoads game will almost certainly be digital-only but I still don't think that should stop us from all calling GameStop to see if they have it in stock.

So what’s the thought on pricing for “scarlet” no way it’s under $500 with those specs right?

I know they usually sell at a loss but you can only take so much of a hit on each unit. Thinking back to how $500 consoles haven’t been very well received the last two cycles (PS3 and XB1 w/ Kinect) makes me wonder how well it would sell if it’s $700 or something. Call it spoiled or whatever but console players just don’t seem to want to pay big bucks for their gaming experience.

too high for most people. wouldnt sell

once average joe sees the price break 499.99, there's a big mental hurdle to overcome.

Anaconda will be $500. And the lockhart will be $300.

Edit: this is my opinion

Seems the PS5 will be slightly more powerful. They need to keep the price point equal to Scarlet regardless.

Did they show any details like cross saving/cross play with PC and KB/M capability?
