I think the first Halo might be my favorite Halo campaign.
That said, Halo has never been a franchise I've been crazy about. I put it in the same category as Gears of War in that it's a competent shooter that doesn't do anything original or unexpected.
I do understand why it is so popular thougj. It introduced the online fps to millions of 12 year olds everywhere and is part of the reason why games like Call of Duty are so popular today.

I wish Xbox still had LAN capabilities for 16 players. It made Halo:CE so great.

Used to be able to on Bungie.net, and I haven't really dug into the site much lately, but I want to say that Destiny has taken over all of it and those old Halo stats are lost. Could be wrong. Was trying to find old Halo 3 clips I made and had no luck.

Googled "Halo 2 stats" and came across an old looking bungie.net. Looks like my last recorded game on the site was back in '09.

Man, those were the days. Back when I used to check Bungie.net after each game to see how close I was to hitting the next rank. Having LAN parties with TV's and Xbox's with cords running all over the house.

Halo also led to Red v Blue, which brought a ton of attention to Machinima. Probably helped create the industry that it is today.

I can't be the only one who thought halo was good but nothing special.
Maybe it's because I played half life well before this came out, so I had exposure to a great 3D FPS already.
