Marina Cafe in Destin is listed as a steakhouse but they’ve got good seafood and a great atmosphere.

I noticed that no one has mentioned Capt Dave’s. It’s been probably 20+ years since I’ve been there. Our travels have led further east than Destin, was wondering if it’s still open, or still worth a visit…

Don’t know but one needs to come up with some legitimate seafood gumbo, Have tried it everywhere it was on the menu in this area. Simply not good; many don’t taste like gumbo at all. Man, when you don’t bother putting okra in your seafood gumbo you are hopeless.
