If you are really trying to grow your family run business you are way off the mark. You've run off loyal, regular customers that support your base business by employing your gold rush mentality so you can brag about how fast you sold your allocation of beer to a bunch of dudes you never see in your store any other time. This is from someone that goes out of their way to support family run businesses in our community, including for well over a decade, yours.

I also use to be a regular customer. Would go on my lunch break often and purchase a few things. That all came to a screeching halt a year or so ago when I came in to get a particular beer. That beer was sold out so I decided to get a different one and hop in a line of 5 or 6 people. Of the 5-6 people in line, I watched YOU in particular hand them the "sold out" beer from behind the counter.
That is absolutely not how you treat customers or should be doing things. If you have some buddies that you reserving for. Give that crap to them after hours or something. There is nothing worse then seeing a sold out item handed to a few individuals after being denied.
This is the reason that you are slammed on here because that indeed is considered "douchy"

It's crazy that he doesn't realize it is widely known what goes one there.

You guys should put your money where your mouth is and not buy from this guy or others that do similar practices. Instead y'all will line up like schmucks to patronize these fools and then bitch about it on the internet.

I don't spend money there. Not for food or beer. That doesn't mean I don't have benefits from people that have been able to beat the system by trading goods/services for rare beers.
It is impossible to get away from. Virtually every retailer is playing favorites now. Most just arent on here saying they arent

I'm not wasting any of my money there after his attitude today. There are other places that sell these beers and there are plenty of great brews going around now as well.
